Conner simply ignored the man. This was probably some petty attempt at revenge after Conner rebuked his flirting attempts at the library. But as Conner is immortal. Giving in to such petty taunting, especially taunting from his food, is beneath him.
As for Velma... well... the normally stoic kindred gave her just a simple eyebrow raise. Wondering if she knew exactly what she was doing... and who she was doing it too.
Conner takes the keys and puts them back in his pocket.

If Dominyk noticed or cared about Conner’s apathy, he didn’t show it. He took his time like the woman in front of him was the only one in the room. Her own attempts at getting to him fueled him forward, and the way his name worked off her tongue...that put other questions in his mind.Resist: 4suxx
Dominyk let himself be pulled closer forward, letting her do what she wanted, it was easier that way. He was sure this was a woman who had brought men to their knees, although playing like this, particularly in this club in that dress. “M’lady you are truly similar to a Calla Æthiopica or perhaps the Yellow Cowslip. And yet I still don't know your name.” He raised her hand further, lifting it from his tie to his lips, A faint slid of his thumb across her knuckles before following them with a simple kiss. His eyes never leaving hers.

Velma kept looking into the man’s eyes, was she hypnotized by his cold blue eyes? The Daeva allowed him to do as he intended with her. Something about him triggered the songstress… somehow the snake had been turned inside out, all the snake enchanter had to do was keep singing his unmerciful song and she would follow.

“Dominyk Prise.”
When she finally realized who she was speaking with the Daeva understood what attracted her in this mysterious, delicious stranger.
“Ah. I’m Velma. Velma Star.” Velma finally added, every nerve cluster in her waiting in anticipation about the man’s next move or word.

There was always something so perfect about the way some women could speak his name. But then it always surprised him how he had changed over the years. “Pleasure, Lady Star.”
He lowered her hand and carefully ran a single finger over her wrist before taking his first look around the room since he had started speaking with her. “Perhaps, if you wanted to.” he said with the slightest nod towards an opening stage, “Unless you’re more of a watcher? Or would rather...something else.”

“Oh… that!” the Daeva looked down for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts.
Maybe it was the cinnamon that was making her flail like a teenager. But at the same time she felt ignited by this stranger.
“Well, what do you usually enjoy? I must confess I’m just learning and watching.” Her head turning to the stage for a moment just to see what was happening...
But please... I trust you will keep me entertained tonight. the Daeva finally offered to the novelist.

“I enjoy many things, Lady Star. On my knees and off of them But, I can respect curiosity. Some things need to be experienced from all angles.” He shifted his focus slightly to the quiet man in the booth ( Conner Greyson ), that he had borrowed the girl from.
“What about you, you look like you have some idea of what you’re doing.” The fairest said as he noted the rope. “Are you intending to preform tonight, or were you hoping for something else? I’m sure one of these ladies...or gentlemen would be happy to help. After all the lady does wish to observe.” The smile was faint, but genuine.
“That is, Lady Star, unless you object.”

Who? Me? Oh... as if awakened from her stupor she looked again to Conner Greyson.
She had now realized how frivulous she was making herself look in the eyes of the shadow... she had come to the Asylum set in an idea but somehow destiny had conspired to offer her a unique chance.
She couldn't let it pass by.
The Daeva smiled in understanding to the shadow. She wondered if he would be hurt in his pride because she had decided to join Dominyk.
There will be time to make ammends.
And who said you can't have fun making ammends...
then she returned to her present place and time.
"It's ok for me Mr. Prise, either way really."

Dominyk smiled something glittery. “Perhaps in that case I should have my driver pull up to the door. I’m sorry if I cut your experience here short, Lady Star.” He lifted her hand momentarily, with the intent of escorting her through the club goers.
He would have suggested a private room, but that wouldn't be classy.
