"Can do," the clerk responded without a pause. A sale was a sale, and if that included another enthusiast paying for those little extras, his pockets were not going to complain.
"I'll prep the paperwork, and from you I'll need an ID."
He ducked down beneath the counter, where presumably said paperwork was kept.
"It'll be ten days before it can be released to you, but you probably know that by now anyway."
Dr. Marcus smiled and offered the man his drivers' license. "No problem. I know the drill. See you in ten days, then!" He smiled, then offered to pay.
