As she is left hanging, April turned away from Tyler, a frown forming on her brow. She looked at her phone a couple of times, checking her email and her text messages. The girl put her smartphone back into her purse and focused her attention back on the Vodka Tonic in front of her.
What an asshole.
Realizing that it was getting late, April downed the rest of her drink in one go. She set down the glass on the bar and collected her purse. "Thanks for the drink," she said to the Old Man, giving the bartender a quick smile before turning away and heading for the door.
April exits the scene
