Olivette answers in her crisp, professional tone. "Miss Angeline speaking." For the 2 seconds that follow, the staccato rhythm of a computer keyboard can be heard, but is quickly silenced.
"This is Mister Warden Ith Lazarus, I would like to schedule an appointment with Alder Lord Prince Clarke to introduce a fellow member of the First Estate and get her acknowledgment in his domain." His voice is flat with the utmost seriousness, it is clear this is not a common phone call for the Warden.
Olivette keeps her serious tone. "Of course, Mister Lazarus." She starts pulling up Asa's appointments while she continues in a slightly more reprobatory tone. "Do take care, however. Mister Clarke doesn't appreciate certain words being used over the phone." She isn't one to dwell on reprimands, however, and she returns quickly to her business tone. "Would tomorrow at 2 o'clock be suitable, Mr Lazarus?"
"Mister Clarke will be at the Avalon. I'll tell him you'll be there at two," Olivette replies while the click-click of a retractable pen can be heard over the line. "Will there be anything else?"
"A pleasure, Mister Lazarus. Have a nice evening." Once any other pleasantries are exchanged, Olivette flips the phone closed, and goes back to typing.
