Save for the vehicles of the gathered Kindred, the parking lot of the theatre is empty, and Ballo Della Notte silent and sedate in the night. It's been nearly an hour since Twist issued her Summoning, and the slow tension has been mounting. Time enough for the Kindred to prepare, and plan.

The calm, unobtrusive form of Kalos appears beside Twist .

For once, his implacable calm shows curiosity, or maybe worry.

"Miss Torsione... there's something you should see."

Out front, a figure in a fedora and trench coat approaches.

And another.

And another.

And...

They trickle toward the theatre, identities occluded by their clothing and shadows, at least half a dozen.

"There are also a few coming to the back door... and climbing the fire escape."

*Max raises a curious eyebrow as he does a quick head count of the figures moving towards them. He wants to let out a soft whistle, but nothing comes out. Instead he can only shake his head in dejection.

Too many to hide from, and enough to outnumber them perhaps two-to-one. If he made it out of here tonight, he would make it a point to join Sidor at the next Mass...*

At least I'm not knee-deep in sewage this time... *He mutters under his breath, turning his attention to the figure farthest in the rear. If he was leading the Fedora Army before them, he sure as hell wouldn't be in the front...*

Together with Kalos' worry comes that of Chris. Twist summons one, and gets the rest for free. Now Chris doesn't expect Staley to have brought his friends for an English high tea.

So it's an army!

The Vala just looks at the figures, and waits. He is the least Kindred to take initiative here, so waiting is all he can do.

On the bright side, the least scariest threats have a bigger chance of survival.

[Twist]

Twist follows Kalos to see the mass of approaching figures.

"The fire escape even? How rude."She watchs the figures approach, her eyes dark as more filter in from the night.

"Lock up what you can." She says simply to Kalos, her voice calm. Though the theater appeared quiet aside from the Kindred, Kalos and the cloaked group advancing upon them, Twist had no doubt that there were still a few of her herd and staff lingering in the building. There were always lines to learn, moves to practice and sets to build. Kalos would be able to gather them and take them to a safer room.

She looked to Conner as she called upon her blood. And maybe, just maybe she smiled.

Through the windows, Conner and Max can both strain to see the soft, indistinct auras, but little else in the darkness. Both Mekhet can hear a soft chirping, the sort that might come from a cheap watch, or timer, and the figures all stop at the signal.

Hands go to the coats, opening them.

Small, dark shapes in rows are connected with wires, strapped to each.

A moment passes, then two.

Then they disappear.

"Yes, Miss," Kalos replies to Twist, voice soft and strained before moving away to comply.

Those with Heightened Senses activated can roll Wits + Investigation + Auspex for a Clash of Wills against the Cloaked Gathering, with a threshold of 3 successes required to pierce it.
