Lynx couldn't have known what had riled up April and Derevko so much but he trusted his partner and right now they needed to be a team on this. Running down the hall, Lynx took position one row down and opposite Derevko. He would try the handle first to check if it were locked. "Homeland Security!" he'd call out, if it was, before slamming his shoulder hard against the door, getting ready to bring his gun up at the occupants.

Noel moved down the hall with an internal sigh after the Agent Jaeger they were going to be in so much trouble if there wasn't anything going on. Focusing on the same side as Derevko and one row closer to the elevators than Jaeger. Tried the handle if it's locked he'll try to kick the door in. either way, weapon ready to go.
DHS! either opening the door if unlocked or kicking in the door if locked.

April hangs back as she lets the agents do their job, hoping that they have made it just in time to save the woman. She keeps her purse close to her just in case things get hairy, but deep down inside she hopes that the agents will be able to handle the situation.
It is obvious to her that Derevko has the situation under control. However, when she turns to look at Lynx she notices that he is having more trouble with his door. She approaches Lynx and says, "let me give it a try."
She reaches into her purse and pulls out a small lockpick, which she then inserts into the door knob and begins to wiggle it around hoping to hear something click.
He better not give me shit about having one of these.
Derevko
The door bangs open with Derevko's onslaught, the wood chipping where the lock is attached. The lock itself is knocked off kilter - clearly such doors were not made with the intent of keeping out Derevkos.
Inside the room... appeared suddenly normal. There's a modern television, a plush red carpet, a double bed and a door that appeared to connect the room that April was currently dealing with.
April and Jaegar
When the younger DHS: Geo Agent attemped to beat down the door, it remained firmly in place. The latch clicked just a little bit, but apart from that it seemed this door needed the gentler touch.
April's handy skills with a lockpick kit do not fail her in the slightest, and the door clicked open within a few short minutes.
The two can see a room that looked rather normal - with the same carpeting and decoration as the room Derevko had just gained access to. The connecting door is to the left, and a single bed is against the wall beside it.
Both Derevko's room and April's room have a balcony, with the curtains pulled across.
Noel
Further down the hall, the door that Noel attempts to open remained remarkably resilient. It just wouldn't budge on the first try.
Everyone make a Perception roll, please. April and Derevko can roll with a +1 bonus.

Embarrassed he rubs his shoulder from the mild ache. Should have hit the gym more often, heh, what a joke, he thought grudgingly. April's skills were impressive though, and he knew he'd have to ask her about that particular talent later on. It might even come in handy if she taught him...anyways, that didn't matter now. Gazing into the room he saw their efforts were pointless. The scream didn't come from here. Where then? He listened hard, straining to detect some sign that none of them were going crazy and there was some point to being here.

April put the lockpick back in her purse once she is done and gives Lynx a little wink before turning the knob. However, when she looks into the room and notices that there's nothing unusual in there she turns back to him and says, "wrong door. This room is empty, so we should try another one or check with Agent Derevko and see if he had better luck."
"Nothing through here," Derevko said tersely, coming back to the corridor. They didn't have time to play this stupid game of rattling back and forth.
And how the Hell did Jaeger or the apparent new guy manage to miss how to enter a locked building?
He hauled back and kicked at the next door down.
