April just freezes in the spot where she is standing. She is obviously glad that Derevko got there in time to save the woman, but the whole scene with blood everywhere and the dying man on the floor...its just too much for her. Its one thing to see it on TV shows, where all of it is fake and you are protected from the images by the press of a button. But seeing everything from this close, it just makes her slightly sick to her stomach. It definitely doesn't help that she wasn't feeling well that day to begin with. However, she can't turn away from it all, being slightly in a state of shock just watching as the man bleeds out on the floor and Derevko checks on the woman.

Noel walks in weapon trained on the man on the ground. Agent Derevko was seeing to the woman, Agent Jaeger was on the phone and the two women seemed out of it. He stepped forward holstering his weapon and latching it down in case the perp tried for it. He squatted down looking over the wounds then started working on stopping the bloodflow. Number one killer on the battlefield- Blood loss. The thought had been drilled into him while taking the combat medical courses. Now he worked mechanically making sure to trap at least one of the mans arms under his leg again just in case he was feeling like causing more trouble.

when he moves the perp around to get at wounds he goes through his pockets and does a light frisking for I.D. and more weapons.

As Noel tries to work on the fallen man, he sees very quickly that his efforts are not working. The man dies quickly - that much he can glean, and Noel feels the last breaths spluttering. There's a wallet in the dead perp's pocket, with a little cash inside and a card under the name Todd Jefferson, but other than that there's nothing.

As Jaeger spoke into the phone, he can hear the responding voice sounds incredibly crackly and far away. It's difficult to know whether or not the female-sounding voice on the other end of the line can actually hear him. The reception in this place must have been terrible.

The bound woman still appears to be quite panicked, her eyes scanning all of them quickly. She doesn't look at the dead guy.

Derevko looked at the woman, his expression flat and hard. He looked down at the dying man, and then back at the victim.

"I'm sorry," he said quietly. "Jaeger, can you get her out? She'll probably feel better if it's you, not me."Considering I just shot a man down in front of her. He didn't particularly care about the corpse on the floor. The guy had been threatening to cut an innocent girl's throat. If he was down and out, so fucking what? It was no more than he deserved. Blood for blood.

"April, you still in one piece?"

Jaeger put his phone away, they weren't going to get any signal out here. He walked over to his partner, though still giving him some distance. "Yeah sure," he said, his reply full of an odd sternness, perhaps disappointment. "Can't reach HQ, I think it's the phone signal," he added, though it was too late anyways. Lynx took a quick glance at the body Adrian was leaning over. An efficient kill. The pain wouldn't have lasted for him at least.

Lynx went up to the woman and spoke in a reassuring tone trying to quell the obvious panic she still experienced. "Miss, don't worry, please. We're the good guys. We heard you scream earlier and you're alright now. I'm going to untie you so please relax while I work these knots."

He gives some thought of using the knife to cut through the ropes but he's sure that'll just drive her into further trauma. He tries to gently loosen her bonds one at a time starting with the gag in her mouth. She probably wanted to scream or cry, he'd understand if she did.

April snaps out of her daze when she hears her name. She turns to Derevko and gives him a nervous nod. "Umm, yeah...I think," she says in response, unsure of what to say to a man who just shot someone dead in front of her. That man lying on the floor was going to hurt this woman, and Derevko saved her life. But is it that simple?

She looks at the woman that Lynx is helping, and suddenly all her thoughts and doubts fade away as she focuses on the real victim in the room. "Hi there, we are gonna help you and get you out of here, ok?" says April to the woman, offering her the most confident smile that she could muster at the moment. "There's nothing to worry about anymore, you are safe now." She tries to sound as convincing as possible. After all, she figures that if they can calm her down and get her to cooperate, they will be out of there sooner.

"H-he was g-going to kill me!" the young woman sobbed, unsurprisingly hysterical. Given what just occurred, it's more shocking she isn't just fighting to get away from them. If there had been any fight in her before, it seems to have gone now.

Her eyes slide over to April though, and a little of the terror seems to abate with her words. Though still tense, she gulps in a bit of air through a shaky sob. "Get... out, I-I can... leave?"

The police and some paramedics will need to have a look at you and ask some questions Miss. But Agent Jaeger, maybe you and our lady agent could escort her at least out of the room. Maybe to a place you can get some help on the way? Agent Derevko, do you want some air? I can stay here until the detectives come. He raises up standing over the corpse but turns and while it was mostly to late he placed himself in front of most of the carnage or at least blocking his face and chest from the womens view. Hopefully distracting them from looking down at him. He looks over the crime scene again memorizing where everyone stood, and how they had entered the room. He checked his watch for the time so he could piece together what had happened before they were questioned by the police. (I can't believe I don't know the woman's name. I haven't seen her badge either. Please tell me we didn't just bring a civilian into something like this...)

"But first we're going to get out of this building," adds Jaeger, looking back to Adrian with a glance. They'd have to if they wanted to get a call through. Turning his full attention on the sobbing blonde he says, "We're all going to leave together, miss, and we'll keep you safe. My name is Leonard, though my friends call me Lynx. What's your name? Can you tell me a little about what you were doing before all this happened?" The agent takes off his trench coat, since she was wearing only the tank top he attempts to set it over her shoulders just for the sense of added protection and warmth.

"She's not an Agent. She's Jaeger's girlfriend. We secure the scene and clear out until we can make contact with our superiors," Derevko said, eyeing Noel. Clearly hadn't been paying attention, that one. We're all fucking wash-outs, but you could at least stop making it obvious. He refrained from holstering his gun, keeping an eye out in case the dead man had an accomplice, but somehow, he doubted it. Guys that that tended to work alone.

And bullets are still fuckin' bullets, no matter who you are.
