Derevko
Derevko reached the door just as the lock clicked shut, but if previous door obstacles are anything to go by, it wouldn't prove too much of a problem for the seasoned agent. There's another noise too, a dull thud against the door. It sounded like something being propped up against the door handle. A chair maybe? A table? It was difficult to tell.
But someone did not want to be interrupted.
There's even a 'do not disturb' sign dangling from the doorknob.
April, Jaegar and Noel
This time Noel can hear the footsteps too, faint though they are by this point. Derevko was still on the move.
They come out in the same corridor the other agent had been in momentarily. They can see the same plush furnishings, note the old-fashioned but faintly glamorous decor.
They can see his retreating back, as he disappeared around the corner several feet ahead of them.

"Derevko," cried Lynx as he spots his partner's back. "Right behind ya!" He glanced around briefly but didn't quite understand the purpose of the room they were in, why it was connected to the derelict tunnel. He didn't really get a good look at the lovely painting on the wall but the flash of movement from the mirror by their own reflections threw him off for a second enough to slow his pace. All the same he sped around the corner after the agent.
Noel stops looking around the room uses his non gun hand to fish out his phone and snaps some quick pictures of the room. Things were odd here and something in the pictures could help. He was careful to include the picture and the mirror reflecting the tunnel. He really hoped there wouldn't be some ghostly image behind him in the picture. Then quickly stuffed the phone back into his pocket and followed Jaeger.

April follows close behind the two agents, not wanting to fall too far behind, yet preferring to stay behind the trained men with the guns. She looks around the corridor, slightly baffled by the out of touch decor. Whatever it is that's happening in that hotel it was certainly unusual. She tries to recall if she has read anything that may give her a hint to what's happening there, but comes up with nothing of the sort.
I must be going crazy...
She does notice that the other agent is snapping a couple of pictures with his phone, which makes her think that perhaps she isn't the only one seeing things after all. While that is certainly a comforting feeling at first, that feeling quickly fades away. After all, how can she find comfort in the idea that she is running around in some creepy hotel with three federal agents who are all hallucinating just like her...chasing after some screaming woman that they cannot find...
It must be something in the paint...whatever they used to paint the walls here...
Derevko didn't look back, or break his momentum. He didn't have the luxury of doing that, or of thinking. Someone was in danger.
He hauled back and delivered a devastating kick to the lock. To Hell with anyone who was trying to keep him out!
"DHS:Geo! Drop any weapons and get down on the ground!"

The door posed no problem for Derevko, and it slammed back against the wall with a resounding bang. A chair had been propped up against the doorknob, and it clattered to the floor, the wood splitting.
It was an impressive entrance, and the man inside had reason enough to halt.
The room had the same plush, old design as the corridor outside. Everything looked quite new. There was a four poster against the left wall, a double window directly across the room from the agent. The thick drapes were closed, keeping the room dark. That made sense. The man within would not want a passerby to see him.
There was a desk beneath the window, but the chair had been pulled into the centre of the room.
The woman in the chair was young, barely in her twenties. She looked terrified, but one could hardly blame her. She looked hideously out of place in the room, with faded jeans, a tank top and red trainers. It looked as though she'd been grabbed from the street while jogging. She doesn't speak, a gag had been tightened around her mouth. Blood from her cheek had stained the white material.
The man behind the woman was remarkably modern in appearance too. Hell, he looked like a businessman from his clothes - a dark blue suit, a pale blue tie. Presumably he wore suitable black shoes too, but his feet are hidden behind the chair. His clothes are ruffled though, no doubt from the need to pull the poor young woman through the maze-like hotel.
He held a knife to her throat, tinged with her blood. He clearly hadn't had a chance to really get down to business yet.
"Stay where you are!" he demanded.
Jaeger, April and Noel
The other three can hear the door slam open, and see Derevko's back in silhouette disappearing into the room.
As Noel looked down at his cell phone, he can see the photographs are blurred. Maybe the light was just bad, or his hand had been shaking but there isn't anything discernible in the shots.
Please roll Initiative. Bear in mind that April, Jaeger and Noel are 1 round of running behind Derevko.
