The scream took any further wondering away from Derevko.

April raises an eyebrow as she looks into the room. She can't help but wonder why it looks so different from the rest. When the agent asks her if she minds backing him up she just gives him a nod and says, "sure, that's fine. We should definitely take a closer look at those footprints."
She walks into the room, keeping her purse close to her in case anyone or anything decides to jump out at them. After all, one can never be too careful. April begins to examine the footprints around the chair, hoping to find something...but her lack of experience in forensics doesn't help her much in this case.

Hmm, maybe agent Adrian will have better luck. I assume he's trained to deal with this anyways...
April and Noel
As Noel studied the crime scene, feeling more in his element now with something tangible to actually see, the agent can see a small crack in the wall. It's perfectly formed in fact, a straight line moving up from the floor around 6.5ft above.
It appeared to be a door, sans handle.
In the light there's a flicker of rapid movement from beyond the door, as though someone or something was rushing past.
Jaegar
From the side of the left wall, Jaegar can see a small crack of light piercing through into the darkness of the tunnel. There are footsteps too, and they appear to be quieter than Derevko's loud, hurrying footfalls.
Derevko
Derevko ploughed past it, moving toward the larger focus of light ahead of him. And suddenly there is no dark tunnel and faded, mould-ridden paint. There's a plush red carpet underfoot, a pretty scenic picture with horses and a babbling brook on the wall beside him. There's a gold mirror ahead of him, reflecting the dirty tunnel behind him.
It's certainly the hotel still. It's just... prettier.
He doesn't appear to have gone through a door.

"Derevko," hissed Jaeger after the man who sprinted out of sight in the dark tunnel. He pulls his gun out, uncertain now that he hears the new pair of footsteps. He peers through the crack of light, hoping to catch some movement on the other side. He listens, trying to make out any voices and then, if hearing nothing, attempts to finger the crack to see if he can dig it out or something to get a better view.
Agh, what is this? It better lead somewhere important, I've got to go after Derevko before we get separated even further.
Derevko would have skidded to a halt in surprise if he hadn't been so well trained. As it was, he took it in stride physically.
Only physically. His mind raced, trying out theories, none of which made much sense.
None of this makes any fucking sense. Really weird fucking refurbishment? Fuck, no. What sort of refurbishment is this?! The scarred Agent scanned the room.
It was a damn sight nicer than the other rooms. Just no Goddamn screaming victim!
Seeing the movement from the crack under the door and no hinges it should open into the wall. He quickly charges the door shoulder rushing it, someone could be escaping. Training had taken over, luckily that also meant his gun was pointed no where near April who was behind him. And seeing how the other doors had resisted his attempts he really concentrated on this attempt.
(Who are you? And maybe he would have some answers to the craziness here.)

April turns to the sound of Adrian charging against the secret door. She looks over to the agent, noticing that he has found something she had definitely missed when looking around. She takes a few steps closer to him, but keeps a certain distance just in case. After all, who knows what could be behind that door...
"Should I go check on the other agents and tell them you found something?" she asks Adrian, wondering what she should do next.
Noel, Jaegar and April
The power of Noel's strong shove is enough to send this door swinging back rapidly and forcefully. Straight into Jaegar, as he examines the crack of the door.
The light from the room April and Noel are inside illuminates the dusty, dank and dark corridor beyond. The rather horrible scent of a tunnel not opened to the air in years, filters into the room.
The sound of Derevko's footsteps have faded away.
Jaeger takes 3 bashing from the door. He can mitigate this by rolling Dex + Athletics- each success removes 1 bashing
Derevko
Just on the periphery of his senses, Derevko can hear the sound of something being dragged. At that range it isn't possible to discern what exactly it is. A couple of feet away a clock chimes 6pm. The clock hadn't been there the last time he travelled this corridor... but then, it hadn't look very hospitable before either.
Noel quickly pulls the door off Agent Jaeger with his free hand and quietly apologizes. Sorry. He looks back towards April.
Looks like we found them. He motions for her to come up and tries to signal her about the smell before she gets to close. He looks back to Agent Jaeger and asks.
Was that Agent Derevko I saw running past the door here? I saw footprints leading to this hidden door so someone else has been here recently. His voice was still quiet, he was still ready for action especially to follow Agent Jaeger in case he didn't answer and just ran a head.
Derevko didn't wait. He didn't need back up.
The dragging noise after the screaming made it pretty obvious what was going on.
As for the mysteriously changing rooms, well fuck. Maybe he'd finally snapped and was hallucinating, but he didn't have time to fucking think about that right now. It would have to fucking wait.
He ran in the direction of the noise, gripping the Glock, memories flashing through his head.
His partner's last, glazed look of horror in the storm drain. The razor. Bare fists somehow smashing bone that bullets had just seemed to bounce off of.
An illusion. Drugs extending stamina. The damage had just been hidden and aggravated.
He remembered it all.
