Relatively young as Chris is, he is allowed to be bored right now. Even for a Mekhet.

If I can't even handle two dogs, than what am I worth? I have a Goddess on my side.

He takes his sword and steps out of his car. He spares one glance for the two red eyes looking out of his backpack he left on the front seat of the Mini Cooper. Hopefully he would see his little creation once more.

C'mon doggies, give me a reason to clean my sword tonight. I want Morrigan to be proud of me.

With that renewed courage, he tries to locate the dogs again.

With his heightened senses, Chris Wooding is on even footing with the animals; when he moves, they move. Sound mirrors the movements as he approaches the line, and it's no surprise to see the dogs slowly approaching, stalking him.

Chris sees the dogs, and realizes they still see him. Their first bite had almost been lethal, so the Mekhet heals himself before entering the fight.

Ok, here we go...

Then, about ten seconds later Chris dashes forward with superhuman speed, his katana in front of him. He bends over, jumps up, and makes an overhead attack on the dog that had wounded him.

The first Turn that Chris used Celerity was his Movement + a Surprise attack. If he is adding Celerity to this roll, it will be another point of Vitae and drop him to 1V. Is he using Celerity for a second Turn?

Yes he is, to 1V, but first to attack. -1Vitae and -1 WP

Chris growls to the wounded dog, his Beast is starting to get hungry and taking over the Mekhet. He doesn't think the dog would back off, but there is always a little hope. So he makes the same move on the other dog. If he could at least wound both dogs, then in the worst scenario they might bleed to death and not ash him tonight.

Morrigan has tasted blood, now the Goddess wants more.

The dog nearly collapses as Chris almost severs it into two halves.

Purplish-grey entrails spill onto the wet grass, steam rising from the warm organs and splattered blood. The smell of blood mixes with the acidic stench of half-digested food and assaults Chris' senses.

Both wounded animals bite ineffectually at the Celerity augmented Acolyte, teeth clicking on empty air.

The dying dog begins staggering away, stopping to sniff at the rope of intestine dragging behind it.

A short moment Chris is surprised by the dog's intestines, or actually the steam. However, he has no time to think about it, he has to kill the other dog as well and then get the hell out of here.

The distraction obviously makes his attack weaker. Now he is afraid, so after his quick attack he does a few steps back.

The dog spins out of the way of the flashing steel arc of Chris Wooding 's sword and snaps at his calf. The other dog shivers from the blood loss and slowly sinks to the grass to contemplate it's innards.
