Chris sighs, frustrated. He looks around, and activates his enhanced senses in an attempt to see more of the area around the Asylum. The place freaks him out a bit. I better get my sword And so he does as he runs to his Mini Cooper, gets his sword with a quick Touch of Shadows, and goes back.

Feeling a little safer already, he starts to walk in a circle around the Amber Hills Asylum. Maybe there was an open window? Or another possible entrance. He also doesn't want to miss any cameras. Because suddenly I feel very alone...

*Max can only shake his head. He had hoped the diplomatic approach would have worked, but it seemed he was right back to the same old method of communication: brute force. If the alarm hadn't alerted Lazarus, or whoever had taken his place within the Asylum, it probably would have alerted the police. The mission had suddenly changed; it had gone from finding answers to covering up the truth. A Ghoul who knew too much, more witnesses on the way, and the secrets still buried somewhere within the walls of the looney bin.

He reaches back, stolen blood pumped through dead veins as the Mekhet prepares to give the guard a rude awakening on how to treat women...*

Outside...

Chris begins his circuit of the premises in the darkness; driveways and sidewalks surround the grounds. The grass is neat and well kept, and topiaries and hedges create paths and scenery. Presumably, patients use these for therapy. Silver moonlight gleams on the blackness, reflecting off of droplets left from dew or sprinklers.

There's a swishing sound, in the distance, that only Auspex could pick up, accompanied by an increasingly loud rhythmic thump-thumpthump-thump, thump-thumpthump-thump.

Max's sudden move breaks his Cloak, and Harold snarls, lunging.

Good, some music to emphasize the exciting mood.

A sarcastic thought to give himself some courage. Chris moves slowly towards the sound. He wasn't sure to use Cruac again, he had failed once, he couldn't risk to fail twice. Dishonoring the Godess on nights like this could only make everything worse.

*Max stands his ground, waiting for the Ghoul to get just close enough to bring his arm forward; the Mekhet attempting to to drive the balled up fist into the man's stomach. A healthy does of Vigor wouldn't hurt either...*

Still, a body in motion tends to stay in motion, and Harold has a large body. Unfortunately, for Max, it isn't all useless blubber either, and the baton crashes into the Mekhet with enough force to shatter bones.

Two large, heavyset dogs charge straight at him, jaws open and teeth flashing, but completely silent; attack dogs with their vocal cords surgically removed.
