Well, technically Voldy did take over during the last book, but Dillon again decides to leave that out of the discussion. It really wasn't even worth mentioning.
"It does seem a pretty drastic measure though, doesn't it? Chopping up your soul. Can you imagine being that afraid of dying?" Oh, the irony.

'Yeah, can't imagine he was really a happy person. At least his mother has no reason to be proud...' With a soft chuckle as looks to Dillon and Kevin. She couldn't really participate in this in depth Wizard conversation. Yes, she was a sweet bunny and no sex icon, yet there were quite some better things to do.
Subtly she starts to look around, interested in other costumes, who was talking to who... and of course wondering what they were talking about. Meanwhile she also thinks of another topic, but doesn't expect the others to keep talking about this all night.

Leo Rex moved from the bar to the group, walking towards them deliberately in Alice's field of view. He smiled when he reached the group.
"Gentleman. Lady." he says, nodding to each, his eyes lingering on Alice. "I hope I'm not interrupting. I'm rather robbed of interesting conversation and you look like a riveting lot. I'm Leo."
After introducing himself, he takes in the costumes of those before him.
"I must say, sir," he addresses Dillon. "You make a rather dashing Captain America." Turning to Alice, he allows a charming smile to tug on the corners of his lips. "And you, madam, make a most charming rabbit."

Leo is dressed in a rather nice, white suit. His costume for the evening is a mask more fit for a masquerade ball. Gold face paint is applied around the eyes, much like Batman applied black to his eyelids and face.

Kevin hums his agreement with Alice's observation about Tom Riddle's mother. The Itheaur blinks at the approach of Leo during a pause in the conversation as he wonders if they shouldn't change the topic of conversation to something else, after all, there's only so much you can discus about the series before you begin to repeat old arguments and already stated view points. He knew that the series has a number of plot holes and one of which has to do with what actions the 'muggle' government had been close to taking during the last book, he was of the opinion that the Herd was getting spooked and a stamped was about to run over those magical 'wolves'. You just know that something was going to happen between that community and the government of the UK, nobody would stand for so many unexplained deaths.
Kevin shakes his head, he frowns more from his internal dialogue then the appearance of another person. And just what is this guy suppose to be? The Itheaur wonders to himself as he comes out of his mind to reconnect with the world around him. "Hello yourself, good sir." Kevin pipes in as he finishes studying the man.

"We've kicked around our own conversation almost to the point of not being interesting anymore," Dillon says to Leo's introduction with his politely disarming grin. He'd pretty much reached the same silent conclusion as the other two. After all this is a Halloween party, not a fantasy convention.
He gives a friendly salute to the compliment. "I'm Dillon, Leo. Nice to meet you."
Normally, he'd introduce the others, but he hadn't traded names with the wizard, yet, and wasn't dead sure whether or not 'Alice Brown' was the name that his little bunny friend used among the kine.

'Well thank you!' Alice smiles and extends her hand to the man. Done in a way that he could either kiss or shake it. Kissing hands was not from this time, but being at a Halloween party might do wonders. 'A pleasure to meet you, I'm Alice.'
A short moment the Daeva shares a glance with Dillon. Could this man approach them because of their Beasts? The Masquerade would tell. 'You wear a nice mask yourself Leo. You like Masquerades?'

Leo nods to Kevin and Dillon, quickly extending a hand to shake if they'll take it. When Alice's hand is presented, Leo takes it gently into his own, bowing down to let his lips give the softest of kisses against the back of her hand. There's almost a flash of a smirk as he straightens up. His touch, to Alice, is a nice, warm, comfortable 98.6.
"Why thank you, madam." he says, warm smile set fast on his face. "Yes, you could say I'm a fan. And yourself?"
Taking note to masks... he muses Guardian? No, Adam, don't be so foolish. You would be able to tell. Or would you?
He wasn't sure whether he imagined some form of code from the woman or not. He passed it off, the internal confusion never reaching his winning grin.

"I'm Kevin." The Itheaur introduces himself not long after Alice had but before her question. He likely has a touch of confusion at the question as it comes across as a test of some kind, at least, that is what it sounds like to him.
"Masquerades?" Kevin murmurs softly to himself as it brings to mind some other event and he finds himself looking at Dillon thoughtfully. Comic Con? Is that the correct term? He decides to wait before asking if Dillon goes to any of those conventions. It would also explain why Alice might have spoken in code. Kevin feels rather pleased with himself as he solves that puzzle.

Figuring that is was best to keep it conversational, in case this wasn't some new Invictus Ventrue/Daeva something-or-other employing the Mask of Tranquility, Dillon raises a brown gloved finger and gives it a little conversational wag. "There was a pretty interesting Masquerade Ball this summer at the River View Marriott, actually. Proceeds for charity and all that. It was pretty fun. Did either of you make it?"
He gives a friendly glance to Alice the Bunny. "Because I'm pretty sure I saw you there."
It was the lips. They'd given her away instantly, like her own little trademark.
