Brutus smiles and nods in agreement following after Falx off the bridge and toward the shops.
Errant falls in, hoping to maybe snag a bite at the shops.
Gabriel followed the others. This trip did a splendid job at showing him how out of place he was in the city. And how the city had changed. Gabriel longed back to his cabin or back to the wilds. There it was easier to use magic if needed, less paradoxes to worry about. But he decided to endure this. He had to learn more about the city to be able to truly call it home.
Narration
Down a side street, there's a coffee shop -- maybe it has food? There's also a really hot girl coming out of it.
A police car and SUV pass the group, and both driver's give everyone a once-over, but keep going.
Falx manages to glance at the hot chick for only a few seconds. ~..hehe...~ Though if it weren't so obvious he'd like to admire her so more.
He watches the cop and suv pass by and watches them out of the corner of his eye. He laughs coldly. "America, land of the free, home of the brave, but if you look like something other than a sheep. The cops will drag your ass in." He mutters coldly. "Even when you risk your life to defend their freedoms and let them think they are safe they still treat you like seconds once you are out." He shakes his head visibly frustrated at the lack of respect the armed forces gets from parts of the population.
"Anyone up for some food?" Partially he was hungry, partially he was wondering if there were more hot chicks in the coffee shop.
"There jsut doing their jobs. I would have given us a look over when I was on the streets." Cearts tries to not get defensive, but not sure if he manages it. "I could do with some food. Coffee and a doughnut."
"Then I say we break and get something to chow" Brutus has left his sour attitude behind. Food always helped him get over his problems. Falx looked like he ought to do the same.
