"Go after him, Deputy Greyson," Sidor's voice rumbled out, the floor shaking. "I'll head him off at the back door." He turned and broke into a run, the shadows streaking in the air behind him. He had no celerity, and little blood in him to power such a discipline even if he could call on it. Nor had he been a sprinter in life.

Still, this would cut off Anton's escape, and he could move down towards them if Flores didn't catch up. Tactically, it made sense, to prevent the escape. He cursed internally that Flores had been such an ungodly coward that he had fled instead of freezing. He had not thought the man would be that weak, or that frail.

He'd been wrong before.

If Conner used Celerity to close the distance, he can still take a 2nd Turn Action.

Then he can take his 3rd Turn Action, then Max can take his 3rd Turn Action.

If Anton is still on his feel, then we'll go from there....

With rapid fire attacks Conner drives the stakes into the Anton trying to get the man's heart but cannot seem to find it home, but there is damage done.

Anton looks at Conner briefly in disgust, sneering at the weakness of the Mekhet Clan. Even as Conner's stakes sink in, the wounds close immediately -- at least, the first one. The others remain.

"So unworthy."

The words came out harshly, in a quiet whisper as he jammed the stake into Max again, tearing into his abdomen.

Sidor reaches the rear entry next Turn.

Conner ignores the words of the insane and tosses the stakes aside, A blade seems to spawn into each of Conner's hands as he goes to work with his knives. He knows he hits something vital as he continues the attack.

Conner looks down to the prone form of Anton and Max under him. Conner cotinues the attack, this time at a different target. Conner's eyes are cold and dead as he lays into Max...

at least.... in his mind he did. But instead he pulls off Anton and extends a hand to Max.

Sidor rounded the corner, running flat out as he did. If he had been mortal, he would have been panting for breath. He supposed that was a slight improvement towards almost missing participating in a murder that he had planned. He cocked his head at Anton's torpid body and rolled his eyes, coming to a gradual halt as he reduced his speed.

"Well then. Shall we finish this?" he said, the red light flickering across the walls of the corridor as he moved. "Although I suppose he would make a reasonably unattractive rug."
