It reminded him of that time in '43 when he had been hitching a ride on a M3 Lee that got hit by an 88. It had hurt like a son of a bitch back then and it hurt just as bad right now. Ouch.

Still managed to somewhat stick the landing, 9.7 from the US Judge but 5.1 from the Soviets, and the tough leather jacket he wore for operations took a bit of the shock. A bit.

Getting up the Deputy uses Vitae to heal some of the wounds and begins to move towards the van. They needed to get those two damn Torpored bodies back before it went off the side.

Anton's driver manages to avoid the van's path and screeches to a halt as the Bishop's lands hard. The dark miracle performed by Brother Grigoriev protected him from the brunt of the impact, but one side of his face is shredded, the skin scraped off by a few meters of road. As the Haunt picks himself up, he wills blood into his injuries. His face knits back together, as though some invisible tailor has repaired the ugly wounds.

Anton walks up to O'Connor and grips cab back off the edge, exerting all the hideous strength he's able to muster.

Falling: 3 Sux, Driving: 1 Sux

7 Initial damage. Cashing in Hauberk to repair it and healing the rest with an additional point of Vitae.

Conner flies... Conner hates flying. He hated flying when he was alive. He hates flying even more now that he is dead. And along with that he hates flying especially without a plane. As Conner flies he must remember to talk to Ariana's friend about the negative effects of *CRASH*

Conner lands, rolls and stands. Conner's long jacket and thick pants helped to prevent any major damage but his entire right side is covered in bruises. A dagger slides into each hand as if they have a life of there own. Conner begins walking toward the crashed Winnebago. As he does he wonders if Mister Ajax would be telling the homeless to come out and play.

As soon as the car comes to a halt, Anasztaz drops the gun on the side of the back seat and steps out. Where adrenaline might have had his heart pumping frantically, the Beast was roaring in his chest now.

He takes cover behind the car, spying on the crash and remembering those nights in the Hungarian winter where he was the Haunt in the woods. The moment he saw either of them distracted he'd make a quick approach and leap upon them, to clasp himself on them and shred their flesh with his teeth.

Just like he did back then.

*Max watches the home brew RV skitter, then roll, right into his path. He yanks hard on the wheel, tires squealing in protest as the cab tries to change directions in an instant.* Hey, I was supposed to wreck you, not the other way round... *Max mutters under his breath. The car swerves, nearly fish tailing, until Max snaps the wheel back the other way to straighten it out. Barely squeezing by between van and jersey wall, Max watches as the cargo area tumbles down to the access road.

He whips his head around, trying to find a way down to the river road. *

Sidor was out of the car on the other side as quickly as he could be, the feather still grasped tight in his fist as he kept the gun levelled. He hoped, oh he hoped the Reverand was one of the survivors. It would be a wonderful thing to match the mortal's guttering candle of faith against the dark majesty of his Theban sorcery.

If he had been alive, his veins would have blazed with adrenaline, the only real thrill the mortal Sidor Rurikovitch had needed. But that feeling was hollow and forgotten now, subsumed by the snarling Beast that screamed to unleash the Miracles that came naturally to the Haunt.

He was ready.

Brenn screeched a curse as max swerved around the Van, the momentum of the car throwing her into the opposite cab door. With the excitement of the chase her seat belt had been utterly forgotten and now she was paying for it. At least she hadn't been stupid enough to jump onto the RV; there was no chance she would have come out of with the ability to walk.

"Thanks for the ride," she grumbled, staggering away from the cab. She took a few dazed moments to look around the scene, examining the wreckage and the kindred lying in wait. Or, make that all but one. Here eyes caught sight of Anton trying to haul part of the RV away from the cliff edge and she rushed over, ready to lend her own monstrous strength. The metal of the RV bent under the bone-crushing strength of her hands, giving Brenn a better grip as she hauled ferociously backwards.

The big Gangrel's grin is ear to ear as he nods at the Reeve. He gets out of the cab and stretches out to his full frame before slowly walking over to where the other Kindred were dealing with the cab and getting ready to face down potential survivors. If Greyson was expect him to pull that whole "come out to play" crap the masked dude had never seen the movie, Ajax was one of the Warriors and bottle boy was a punk bitch assed Rogue.

However his remarks as he approaches are very much tied to NYC. Yancy Street in fact.

In the darkness, with only the street lights from the freeway above, shapes and shadows begin to resolve. There's junk everywhere. On top of the junk, there are a dozen or two cat corpses. Some survivors mewl pathetically, and there's someone crying.

Other Kine stir, some moaning, some asking for Jesus. Others lay still and silent. Two stagger to their feet.

Debris litters the top of the river's edge like foam on a latte; bits of wood... and a large box, slowly floating downriver. A man clings to the box desperately.

As the cab teeters on the edge, a man looks in the side mirror; seeing the Kindred, he stomps furiously on the accelerator pedal. When that doesn't work, he opens the door to run.

Anton & Brenn can each roll STR + (Stamina or Athletics); if they have a combined total of 5 successes or more, they pull the cab back far enough that it's completely stable.

Oh that kind of box.
