Daysha was actually a bit skeptical of Damyean, but, it’s not like she couldn’t take care of herself. It was true, she was a bit feisty, but nevertheless it made her a decent detective. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger; she thought of her dad’s overused cliché. Yet, Damyean didn’t seem all that bad. She hoped her judgment wasn’t that far off. He looked line a nice guy, and then some.
Prior to Damyean getting in the car, she had to quickly remove her computer, cords and some other items so he could sit up front. They had left the Spiral and Damyean was in the passenger seat. Normally she had music on when she wasn’t working but had turned it off so they could talk on the way to the precinct.
“Oh, by the way, like I mentioned before, make sure you disarm yourself before we’re at the station, please.” She smiled and continued. “So, where are you from and how did you get into the bounty hunter business?”
