TMNT3 Reference^^

Conner stood under a streetlight, waiting patiently for his fellow soldier and his recruits to meet with them. Cheyenne's car was parked down the street, this time with a good deal or rope and other climbing equipment. He did not bring flashlights because he found them unnecessary. He was, of course, armed and ready to go. He had also replaced his cellphone. He also had Cheyenne buy a set of weatherproof walkies talkies with throat mics. He understood that she had ordered them online. Conner could not expect everyone to be able to read minds. Plus that took a good deal of effort that he did not want to expel while busy climbing, hunting, fighting etc.

So Conner stood and waited patiently for his partner to arrive so the hunt could begin.

A car pulls to where Conner waited, driven by the Mekhet's Clan and Coterie Mate, fellow Deputy and Soldier of the First Estate. Thomas O'Connor quickly exits the driver's side door of the vehicle with a very pissed off look on his face. "No Back Up. Just us." It wasn't from a lack of effort either.

Still Thomas adjusts his dark leather jacket and dark work pants, making sure the the Bowie Knife and .45 were within easy reach of each other. He sets a watch on his right wrist ... not the watch the Prince had given all members of the Invictus but a simple rugged piece. He opens the trunk of the car and grabs another length of rope, the same one with the same accessories as when he'd assisted in getting Greyson out of the well.

"Also have a GPS, don't know if it'll work underground but better to be prepared."

Conner opens the bag he has on his shoulder and tosses the throat mic walkie talkie to his Hunting Partner. "Fresh Batteries and they are water proof." Conner said with a nod and removes his thigh length duster jacket in the trunk of the Cheyenne's car. Under the coat he woar a long sleeve teeshirt and he put on a pair of gloves that were, supposedly, climbing gloves. "Lets get the rope set up and see what we can do." Conner said as he made his way back to where the well/hole that he was a guest of had been.

Thomas catches the throat mic puts it into place with one hand as he adjusts his gear. After it is in place he makes a final check of his weapons, making sure that they are within easy reach, and throws his own rope over his left shoulder before making his way towards the well activating powers of the blood as he walked.

"Let's see if we can hook on to an axle like we did last time, this time we should have enough rope and gear to get down into the tunnels themselves."

As his taxi pulls up to the meeting point Eric pays the driver then steps out carrying a large backpack and... well his other hand appears empty but it's obvious to any Mekhet that he is holding some shadow touched object.

"I hope you didn't have to wait long." he asks as he walks up to the two kindred.

Dressed in a thick denim jacket, white tee, and cargo pants. All of which he picks at uncomfortably. Obviously this is not he preferred dress.

Thomas waits until Eric is close, and the new arrival's ride was gone, before replying. "At least you came." The Deputy and Soldier of the First Estate gives his clan mate a quick once over, it seems that while Eric might be an academic, he was still willing to get his pants dirty. That was a point in the plus column for him as far as Thomas was concerned.

"There are a network of small tunnels under the city that seemed to have been by an animal, along with what looks to be claw marks on the sides of that well. There is an entrance to the tunnels near the bottom of it." He nods at the well. "We could be dealing with a Kindred with a command of Protean or something else entirely so be ready. We should have some more rope and you should carry a bit with you in case we need extra. What type of gear did you bring?"

While Thomas nods at the backpack, his eyes divert to Eric's other hand to see just what he was holding.

"Thank you for joining us Mister Hastings," Conner says, "No we were not waiting long" Conner looks to the hole in the ground and then to the other men, "Under no circumstances are we to split up." Conner instructs as he lays on the ground and work to tie off the rope to the axle and runs it down the well. "Are we ready?" the Priscus asked.

"A Flashlight, map, camera, some masking tape, a multi-tool and some extra batteries, oh and my blade." Eric had been afraid that he might be going a bit overboard when he had been packing. Really he had just looked up an urban exploration gear list online and grabbed whatever items that had suggested. Now he was glad he had.

As he is talking he shifts the shadow touched rapier in his hand in order to fasten it to his belt.

Turning to the Priscus. "Ready when you are."

"Testing One, Two, Three," Conner says clicking the button on his walkie to check the throat mic "Mister O'Connor can you here me?" Conner says walking away from the two. Once he has his response he turns around and looks to the two men.

"Yes, I will be the first down" Conner says and pulled on a climbing harness and strapped himself to the rope."I only brought two harnesses. So I will get down and send this harness back up." Conner says as he braces for his climb down and begins.
