She is hardly raised from her curtsy when Alice sees a bunch of other vampires that have gathered around the Seneschal. Haven't these neonates learned to wait for their turn?

She actually wanted to facepalm modern times have such funny gestures... but because that would be very stupid she laid her hand on her chest and spoke to Victoria. 'Perhaps it's best to acknowledge these Kindred first, then I'll speak to you later, Lady Seneschal.'

'Ladies, gentlemen.' Alice nodds to everyone, and smiles to Mischa with a look of lust in her eyes. Then she'll set a step aside to let Victoria speak to them all.

Soldier Conner Greyson sits in his normal spot, his ghoul as always at his right hand. Conner watched the Prince and his fellow Soldier speaking to each other and wished he was not in an Elysium, it would be interesting to hear the words they are sharing.

"Yes, of course," Asa replied, making a dismissive gesture with his hand. There was a flicker of surprise at the question; the thought of Ishani hesitating an instant to go ask someone a few questions was simply... inconceivable.

With Thomas and Conner, and if Anton agreed, there would be three peacekeepers. There were other possible candidates, but this would be a good foundation.

"There's also been a few new faces seen wandering around, don't let them slip through the cracks," he added.

On the surface it may not have been as big of an issue as Squattaville, or whatnot, but waking up one day to find a city in Kindred anarchy...

After a moment, he spoke again, but softly.

"Please remember that you represent my will and the Unconquered. Neither are things to apologize, or ask someone else's permission, for."

The brand new Deputy O'Connor smiles confidently at the Prince's first words, he had hated to ask the question but he felt he needed to be sure he had the authority to do what he felt needed to be done.

He nods at the Prince's remarks about the new arrivals, he had planned to speak with as many as possible both to let them understand who the Deputies were and to see if any had talents that could be of use. With the loss of so many Kindred lately, there was a chance for each of them to step up and make something of themselves. He wondered if any of them would.

At the Prince's last words Thomas nods with respect towards the man. "Absolutely your majesty." The tone of his voice is crystal clear, that the new Deputy is a proud Soldier of the First Estate and would never think of apologizing for that fact.

If the Prince has nothing more to say, Thomas will offer a bow and leave his Majesty's presence to speak with the first of the potential deputies.

Strolling down the stairs, the skirt of Ariana's black suit swayed a little as she walked. Her metallic blue heels matched the blouse under her jacket. She walked a little further in and saw a quite a few new faces congregating in the hall. She though they must be waiting for Lady Seneschal to acknowledge them. It reminded Ariana of waiting at customer service and taking an number. She smiled as she thought of this which helped to stifle the beast within.

Ariana saw Thomas and Prince Clarke further down one hall, and was slightly curious. She walks toward the flock of new comers waiting by Lady Seneschal's office. Her charming voices flows off her lips "Hello and welcome." She pauses to see if any who are waiting are the talkative type. Ariana's hand did a quick wave to Martha and smiled.

She thought she saw Conner out of the corner of her eye, how could she not notice.

Martha, who was on station by The Stairs, watched Ariana descend. Watching each step of Ariana's heels and the graceful style she showed. Waving in a wide eyed and friendly way, she smiled...letting Ariana proceed on to the gathering around the Seneschal without interruption. Martha stays by The Stairs.

Thomas O'Connor

Thomas leaves the presence of the Prince with a respectful bow and turns, without looking, to a certain corner of the room where he knew Conner Greyson, his fellow Soldier of the First Estate would be. Moving over to that corner, Thomas takes a seat on the couch opposite Conner and a greets his Coterie mate with a friendly smile. On his right ring finger is a plain and simple silver band.

"Mister Greyson, how does tonight find you?"

Conner sat in his corner and watched as the interesting began to take form. "Hello Soldier O'Connor. My evening finds me well. How are you?" Conner asked noticing that his fellow Shadow was wearing the silver ring. "You looked as if you wre having an interesting conversation with the Alder Prince." Conner's voice is his standard monotone but his eyes do show interest in the man and his words.

Asa gives Thomas a nod and a smile to let him know that he has nothing more to say. As the Mekhet leaves, he resumes lightly tapping the papers and frowns slightly as he considers the other vacancy.
