    *Max makes his way ever so carefully next to the Priscus, staring down at the large hole in the Earth. He turns his head to watch Thomas move over, trying to formulate the best plan of attack for the rescue.* This seems our best bet. I wonder if they were nice enough to leave the keys... *He motions to the sleeping heavy machinery.* Could make extradition much easier and quicker...

    The well stretches downward into darkness, and the pipe from the pumping truck follows it. Faint silver flashes are the reflections of the moon on liquid at the very bottom -- visible only to the enhanced eyes of an Auspex user.

    As well are the scratch marks along the well wall, and light mudprints of boots that follow them a third of the way down.

    "Bootprints, partway down. And claw marks. It looks like he was climbing down to investigate and fell. He must be below the surface of the water." And must have been either quite sure of his ability or quite foolish to attempt to climb down unaided. Probably the former, given that he had apparently fallen. Wilhelm's gaze moves to his Whip, before flickering around their surroundings in search of of likely objects to fix a rope around. "You have enough rope to get someone down that far, I hope?"

    "Should have enough." Is the reply from the Mekhet Whip as he takes a quick look at the well and notices the claw markings on the wall. "Those don't look like they were made with finger nails." He turns his attention to finding something to tie the rope to, well finding something for one of the two deputies to tie the rope to. Pushing blood to his undead body he gives himself some extra strength in case they needed to drag or help Greyson out of the well ... or whatever made those scratches decided to drop by.

    *Max waits silently for the light bulb to go on over the other Kindred's heads, Bugs Bunny style. Since that seems to be a long time coming; Max makes his way over to the parked trucks. He doubted there were any keys left at a work site over night, but an unlocked door would be a good start. The hot wiring would have to come next...*

    Thomas walked over to Deputy Max and took the rope off his shoulder. "If we're going to go down after Greyson, one of you will have to tie this off on one of these trucks." It would be rather tough to tie it off himselfwith the missing hand.

    "Do you have any ropes with eyelets spliced in? Then we could just use a carabiner without having to worry about the strength of the knots." Because, honestly, he knew very little when it came to knots.

    Thomas looks at the rope and then at the Shadow Priscus. "I made sure to get the good heavy duty type with the proper clips, we just need to hook it on to something and we should be good to go."
