The bike roars down the street and beneath the helmet, Dizzy was smiling.

For today, he gets paid.

Okay, the job had taken slightly longer than expected but what's a crew to do when you get grifters dropping like flies.

Pulling the bike up in a suitable space outside the Wells Fargo building, Dizzy removed his helmet and unzipped his leather jacket as he entered and headed up in the elevator to the office of Wallis Engineering. Stepping out, and he was still smiling.

Today was gonna be a good day.

Dizzy gets a nod and a "hello" from the receptionist (one day, the kid might even come to believe that Dizzy actually belongs there), and is allowed to roam the halls unescorted. After all, it's not like he's going to take anything. It would take big, brass ones to try and steal from thieves.

The conference room is occupado--the blinds are down but not drawn all the way, and through the glass window Dizzy can see Christine seated at the table with a tall, broad-shouldered man in his mid-40s. They're speaking to each other from opposite ends of the table. Two familiar cases of gray plastic are between them, unopened.

Dizzy wanders through the bullpen, coffee-fueled engineers working with CAD programs on their monitors, and find's Harry's office at the end of the room. The door's closed but knocking gets a "Come on in." Harry's reclined in his chair, feet up on his desk, and he doesn't look up when the door is opened; his eyes are on his widescreen HD. The boss has got an XBox 360-S set up, black and out-of-the-box shiny, and he's using it to play a game that wouldn't have looked out of place on Daryl's Nintendo back when the boys were pups.

"Dizzy. What's up, m'man?"

James enters the building taking off his backpack as he enters. Stopping brefily in the lobby to see which floor he needs he heads towards the lift and makes his way up to the offices of Wallis Engineering.

Exiting the lift he enters the office and heads to the reception desk. "Good evening, I am here to see Mr Woods." He had only been recruited last week, today was his first real day.

Dizzy's eyes flicked to the television and he smiled before looking for a seat.

"Hey Boss, looking busy."

Time to push his luck.

"Got another controller?"

Dizzy

Harry pauses the game and tilts his head to look up at Dizzy. "That depends," he says, serious. "I recently liberated a preview copy of Marvel vs Capcom 3 and I've been looking for someone to throw down. Are you that man?" Without dropping his feet from the desk he pops open a drawer, extracts a stuffed envelope and a controller, and slides both across the wood.

James

"Oh. Okay," says the receptionist, checking a notepad by the phone. He's young, probably working his way through college; he probably hasn't known about Wallis much longer than James had. "Come with me, please, sir," he says, getting up and leading James through the office to an office in the back. The closed door is marked "H. Woods."

A knock and a shouted "Enter!" later, James finds himself in an office with two men who seem rather... preoccupied... with a colorful piece of business on the TV. After a few seconds it pauses and one of the men sets his controller on the desk. "Won't take a sec," he says to his companion, and then he turns his gaze to James. "Would you happen to be my new consultant?" he asks.

A winning smile appears on Dizzy's face. The envelope disappears into his jacket pocket. The controller does not.

"You're about to get mashed up, fool."

He scrolls through the characters, stopping on one Mr. Tony Stark in armoured form.

"Playa's got all the cool toys."

He doesn't turn around when the knock comes and the door opens. Dizzy was too busy getting into X-Box-Zen mode.

"Yes I am." James said whilst taking his backpack off.

Harry nods, gesturing at a chair. "Good. Have a seat, Mister..." He trails off and shrugs, asking, "We found a lot of names for you, which would you prefer? Take your pick. Anyway, we'll be using you for logistical support, information recovery, your standard whatnot. You are of course allowed to continue any other outside consultancies you may be contracted for, but we do have rather strict rules about non-disclosure of our activities, et cetera." Harry sounds thoroughly bored by the whole thing. "It's all boiler-plate. We don't typically use people of your skill set but it's always something good to have around."

"Well data recovery and sabotage are easy enough Mr Woods. Naturally I won't speak about your business to others. For your safety and for my own of course. However depending on your actual business operations I may be able to help more than you think. In this modern world people are relying more and more on computers. Security systems and power systems are now hooked up to computers within alot of companys. Gain access to their computer systems and you gain access to their security network. You can freeze cameras or even shut the entire system down."

"Any chance anything you just said will help me kick Mr. Woods' ass right now?"

Dizzy holds the controller expectantly while smiling at Merlin.
