Thanks everyone, I'm always happy to know my writing is fun to read. :) This particular one's been in the works for... quite a long time, and I was starting to worry I might have over-written it. Glad to know that worry was all for naught.
The conclusion is already fully written (minus last-minute inspiration bits), and I'll post it later this week. Here's hoping it's up to expectations. (Why yes, I do like to keep people in suspense, why do you ask?).
I'll take this opportunity to give a shoutout to RNT, West, and Benji for helping me come up with various aspects of the mood, from the title to parts of the symbolism to the names of the virtues Henry shuns so much.
