The large Victorian bulk of Edna's Boarding House awaits those in search of a room for rent in a rather unremarkable residential neighborhood. Surrounded by a tree-filled yard with a well-tended garden, the house actually looks rather warm and inviting in the daytime. At night was another matter, it could make the perfect setting for a ghost story.
Fortunately for the norman cab driver, he had dropped off his fair during the day. The cab company was rather familiar with this rider, she often used them to drop off stuff at the old building. Except this time it was a bunch of luggage and not groceries. Morgan Bellanar, Paladin of Shadows, was taking up her Queen's offer of residence at the mortal site of Autumn's power in the city. It was perhaps a good thing that Morgan owned only enough stuff for a half dozen luggage cases. That and the bicycle that'd been unhooked from the back of the cab and her "work" backpacks.
She didn't count the small packs she had stored away randomly around town.
The wheeled luggage would make getting them up the walkway easier, though not the stairs. Morgan had started by securing her bicycle in the back, then rolling two suitcases down the walkway up to the front porch. She knocked on the door to see if anyone was around. She had keys, and could probably get in without them, but it was respectful.
That and help would be nice.
