"Thanks," said Dale in response to Kenny, a grin forming across his lips. After all, if there was something better than beer, it was beer you didn't have to pay for. "Not much, just taking the night off," he said to Aryana and Allison before bringing the beer to his lips. After all, things tended to get rather busy, rather quickly. The Rahu didn't have much "time off," so he enjoyed any occasion in which he could just be himself to the fullest.

"So how are things going with you two?" he asked, figuring it was polite to make some conversation with them. His predatory eyes glanced at the TV every now and then, mostly just to check the score and keep an eye out for a good play here and there.

Busy. Yeah. That was one way to put it. "It's been going pretty well. Our little group got off the ground after some, uh...restructuring." Another good word choice. At least the injuries didn't constantly remind her about it anymore. "How're you fitting in with Dale and his buddies? And, who's playing?"" Ary had never been big on sports, but things filter through when you have nothing else to do but watch TV. She knew the rules to hockey, and some of the teams around the US. Not much, but enough to enjoy a game every now and then.

Restructuring. Totally. Allison prevents her smile from falling off of her face. In truth, had Aryana not been here, she'd be bragging to the other Talons, retelling her account of the duel in epic detail. For the sake of her pack, though, and for Aryana, she refrains. No need to rub it in. Instead she simply nods in agreement with her former Beta and looks up at the screen, "Oh hey, it's the Kings. Never paid much attention to hockey growing up, but I do know my home team."

Kenny shrugged playfully, a roguish smile splitting across his features. "Oh, I think it's going well, but hey. You'd have to ask the Boss here. Maybe I'm working my way towards an ass-beatin' I don't know about yet?"

Tater skins arrived, brought by a waitress who looked to the girls for their orders. Kenny pulled a steaming skin off the plate, dipping it in the gloriousness that was Sour Cream before introducing his face to it with a huge bite. "Have one," he said with a partially full mouth. Table manners?

Fuck you. At least he chewed with his mouth shut.

After swallowing and washing it down with brewski, Spire's Anthem gestured with 70% of the skin toward Aryana and Allison. "Kings and the Red Wings. I'm bettin' Detroit is gonna drop a serious beatdown. How are things going for you two? Chuck working you hard?"

Dale quirked an eyebrow at the "restructuring" comment, but didn't ask about it. After all, that was their business, not his. He let out a hearty chuckle at Kenny's words, shaking his head slightly. "You haven't earned yourself an ass beating," he said in response to the Cahalith's words. "Yet." A mischievous grin formed across the Rahu's lips as he added that final word.

As the food was brought to the table, he wasted no time to accept Kenny's offer. "Oh, I will," he said, reaching for a tater skin and devouring it rather quickly. "Glad to hear things are working out for you two," he added after he finished eating the tasty morsel. As Kenny talked more about the hockey game and the teams that were playing, Dale turned his attention to his pack mate and quirked an eyebrow.

"You from Detroit?" he asked, figuring that they hadn't really talked much about that. "Or are you just a bandwagon fan?" The mischievous grin returned to the Rahu's lips.

Allison laughs at Dale and Ken's interaction, piping up in response, "Awww, Spire. You're not doing your job properly if you haven't earned yourself an ass beating by now. Gotta work on that, bruh."

She fires a sly grin at the other Talons as she takes Kenny up on his offer of a potato skin. She dips it in some sour cream before devouring the whole thing in two bites. Maybe one and a half. She chuckles as she finishes and gives Kenny a teasing look, "Go Kings. And yeah, we've been doing our fair share of running around. Getting everything settled with the new pa...um, group and introductions and hunting down a ...sponsor... and everything. Been fun."

Ary grabbed a potato skin with a thankful nod at Kenny, and devoured in two bites. She was damn hungry, apparently. Hopefully there was a main course planned for. Or, the waiter would come back. Either way, she was happy. A nod was offered to Allison for not mentioning the fight. She was pretty sure the same thing wouldn't happen later, but at least she showed that decency here and now. "Stuff's going, we'll see how it turns out." That was really all that could be said in public. Besides, she wasn't about to tell another pack their strengths and/or weaknesses. They were going to be fighting over territory soon.

"I don't really know those teams so...go the best man?" She was pretty sure that was right. She was sure they'd tell her exactly who the best man was, and in loud and simple terms. Sports fans tended to do that.

Two men walk into the pub and head for the bar. One is of about average height and the other makes the first look short. Both are fit and walk with confidence. Average wears an open dark plaid coat and worn jeans. A black jacket and well kept jeans are Tall's attire.

Reaching the bar Average orders a beer and Tall orders a whiskey straight. Both settle into their chairs and their drinks.

"I know, right," Kenny idly replied to Allison's jibe before stuffing his face with tater skin and sour cream. Oh, he'd get an ass-beating sometime. It was part of being a Blood Talon. He just did his best to be socially adept enough to earn it for a good reason other than being mouthy. But hey, around here? That was all it took to become an Alpha.

He kept that thought to himself. The fact that Allison Hunt had sworn to Chuckles' service because he seemed like a nice guy was beyond him.

"Well, good shit, guys. Glad you're doing okay. Now, as for me, yeah, I'm from the greater Detroit area. It's a shit-heap." He shrugged, a smirk crossing his face. "But it's my Motor City shit-heap, so. Been rooting for the Wings since Federov and Shanahan were a thing."

The two guys coming into the bar didn't look abnormal for the place, but his eyes flicked over their way an instant. Weapons check.
