Auto fully enters the room (wearing a different face, remember?), checking the mailboxes to see if any of them have any deliveries not addressed to "current resident". He makes a mental note to, next time he breaks into an apartment complex, bring a can of spray paint to deal with any cameras. For now he'd settle with messing with the mail.
Was he "Punk" now? Did this count as "Standing up to the Man"? Should he defect to the Free Council now that he could add mail theft to his resume?
Autolycus and Ozymandias
Ozy sees no cameras within the room. Truly, it appears to just be a mailroom.
There are numerous mailboxes with mail in it. It could take a few minutes to sift through them to find who it's all being delivered to.
Autolycus's Libertine street cred has undoubtedly developed as a result of his serious heist today. Perhaps a Syndic would love to hear this story one day.
Go ahead and give me an Wits+Investigation and search it up. Increased successes means it takes less time, in this case.
He gestures to the mailboxes for Mandy. "You take one end, I'll take the other?" He asks, inviting her to take the other side of the mailbox. This was gruntwork, but work shared is work halved.

Pulling her book from her bag, she held it tightly to her chest with a sigh, sharpening her thoughts and preparing for this investigation. Quick. Thorough. Get it done. She was focused, intent, composed and thorough as she worked, looking for anything regarding a David Barton, or really just anything that struck her as somewhat bizarre for the building.
It needed to be as finished as possible. Quickly. Before they got caught... but they couldn't very well skimp on information. Any little thing could be important.

Autolycus and Ozymandias
The two Awakened were incredibly efficient. There was plenty of mail to go through, but between luck and pure skill, they managed to find a mailbox of interest in no time flat.
Flyer. Flyer. Advertisement for a sweepstakes. Letter to a Leah Penderson from a bank. Personal letter from Alicia Barton for a David Barton. Suite 305, this building.
Most investigators would have stopped there, but the efficient duo checked in the boxes around it as well, just in case. And what they found there was probably the most interesting thing of all.
It was a letter from Sacramento Police Department employee benefits section addressed to an Officer Leah Penderson.
Roll Perception, please.
Also, given the changes to the Mage mana rules, I'm going to allow you guys to raise your starting Mana to your Wisdom. That is, if you weren't acknowledged and had 0 when you entered this, you now have your Wisdom score. If you were acknowledged and 3 when you entered this, you now have your Wisdom score.

Not only was there an officer in the building, but they lived next door to their target. Smashing. Auto takes the letter from Alicia Barton to David Barton (sister? mother?) and stuffs it into his jacket in the hope that reading it will give an edge when dealing with him.
Truly, someday, they will make a film about his heists.
Ozy & Auto (sittin in a tree)
Ozymandias hears nothing, so busy she is sifting through the mail and enjoying the scope of her revelation.
Autolycus, on the other hand, is a sneaky rogue. He realizes two things. He failed to close the door to the mailroom - and there was someone just outside, walking through the lobby.

Cut reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. Read it. Check.
"Show time! Keep an eye out?"
He grinned and Nous and veered off towards the building.
Cameras? Usually on corners, pointing down the sides. He took an approach angle that would pass him though the shade of trees as he neared a corner and began looking. Shade? Because contrast.
Time to put on the goggles.

Cut and Nous
And so it was that Nous kept watch for Cut as he put on the lens connecting him to the energies of the universe. As he gazed upon the building, sorting through the various forms of energy flitting about - light, sound, electricity, the occasional bit of radiation from a microwave - he narrowed it down and down to find the sorts of patterns that meant 'video' to him. He saw a few. Webcams in various rooms. A video baby monitor on floor three. That probably wasn't it...
...but the video that seemed to be streaming from the area of the front lobby? Yup. That was more like it. He could follow the energies, the constant flow of recording that seemed to go down the hall, and into a room on the same floor, just a bit down from the elevator.
I will ghost Nous as keeping watch for the moment until Jhet gets back.
