Circle of creation

The Circle of Creation is the gathering hub for all Pentacle mages in the Sacramento Consilium, with chapter houses for all five Orders inside.

Located east of Sacramento and far outside the prying eyes of the inner city, the Circle of Creation awaits the mages of Sacramento. Despite being a replica of the Westminster Abbey, the sleepers who come by never seem to notice it. The wards built into the structure have made sure of this. To all but the Pentacle the Circle is essentially invisible, ensuring the safety of those who enter and engage with one another. Whether it had always been here for the Awakened was hard to say now, but it was the site that the Awakened gather to mingle and discuss official matters.



Today is for official business. The Awakened gather to announce, discuss, and deliberate on the most pressing issues facing the concilium. In this light the Circle is almost imposing, as it's enormity and importance seem to accentuate the gravity of the issues the Awakened face. Today maybe a day for heated debate and final judgment. For proclamations and newfound awareness. Ultimately though, today is what the Awakened choose to make of it.

Arriving promptly to the circle of creation the hierarch puts down the Chicken Souvlaki He had prepared for the meeting on a surface by the cork board which he then takes the time to pin and remove notices to keeping it up to date and relevant for the mages of the consilium. Agenda.

With the more administrative task taken care of he remove his jacket for despite the coolness of the cathedral it is a hot summers day in Sacramento and despite wearing the palest shads of grey for his suit he had any extra layers were rather uncomfortable.

This just left the task of taking the minutes for which he picks up the public copy of the records, stored on the shelves and turns to the next blank page before he begins to chant in high speech, releasing mana from his pattern to make his will manifest in the fallen world.

Both spells take hold nicely a satisfying result and testament to some progress he had been making in advancing his own proficiency and overall power.

Dressed in her usual black colors with two knives at her back, along with a bowie knife, and three metallic throwing knives on each of her legs as she walks in from the arrow quarters holding a tray in hand filled with disposable one time use containers of various foods. Clearly meant for the food to be able to easily be brought home afterward. The spread containing cooked unseasoned chicken, a little bowl of boiled unseasoned/unsalted chicken hearts, a container of unsalted in shell peanuts, a hard boiled egg with the shell still on, a small container of blueberries next to a small container of grapes cut in half some red some green, a little bowl of cooked unsalted/unseasoned rice, and lastly a peanut butter ball rolled in oats clearly home made placed at the center for the dessert treat. Balanced upon a larger heavier bowl filled with regular water.

Nodding towards the Hierarch, unsurprised to see him having arrived first, he was almost always if not always the first on scene.
”Good evening Hierarch Chambers.” Walking over towards the food table to set down her tray along with the bowl of water next to them, making sure to place them as much to the side as possible, assuming most would instantly grasp or look upon it to quickly see it was not meant to tease the taste buds of a human. Others always brought far better dishes for that leaving her free to fulfill her words to bring something for Jinx.

Looking over the spread to make sure it all looked good before taking up a red can filled with Chinese writing in black and yellow before walking over to inspect the agenda for the day, softly smiling to herself that the San Fran part was indeed there. Having suspected it would be, and knowing her fellow arrow had shown interest in the information after the limited parts she had felt right sharing with him at the time, and turning back towards Chambers.

Dressed in a good light linen shirt with linen darker trousers Mateus arrives at his first consilium to be greeted by unseen senses figuring mind and... Mediterranean food smell!
He didn't have to look for long to figure who is responsible for this marvel.
Of course, he didn't miss Skye that bested him the day before.
"Greetings, Hierarch Chambers . Greetings Skye." he said, trying to not eye the Suvlaki too lovingly. "May I?" he asked, pointing towards the Suvlaki.
Assuming nobody stops him, he takes a piece, puts it on a plate and tastes it. As the chicken melts in his mouth, he nods gratefully. "This is excellent, Hierarch! And I don't say this lightly. "

After a bit of time to savor more of this delicacy, he says "I was planning to ask: Is it OK for me to use magic in here, before the consilium starts? Or magic can be used only be officials in such official meetings? "

[Thirteen]

Thirteen arrived, looking fabulous in a suit and her hair is it's glorious halo. Jinx the crow was perched on her shoulder as she strolled into the meeting area. In her hands, some tupperware, which she set on the table by Chamber's chicken dish.

"Everyone. I made haggis, as I previously threatened. Try it if you're brave enough," she added with a smirk, then proceeded to take a seat and cross her legs.

"Howdy, humanoids!" the crow piped up as he hopped off of the Libertine's shoulder and settled on the arm of her chair. "It's true. Red spent hours in the kitchen cooking in between bouts of cussing!"

Every couple of months it was time for the more, formal, of the meetings. Which meant she had to put a little more thought into what she wore.

So, this time, it was her red pant suit, because she liked it and she looked good in red. Well, she looked good in a lot of colors, but especially red.

A couple growlers of her summer ale were put into a cooler and pulled behind her as she walked into the building. The smell of many different things hit her as she got closer to the others and a hand was held up,

“Hey.” Bringing the cooler up and opening it, setting one of the growlers on the table with some plastic cups. “Summer ale, light with a citrus profile, perfect for the warmer weather if I do say so myself. Think I hit the right notes this time.” Maybe. Or maybe she could actually put some more effort into it, take up some classes and really hit it out of the park.

A nod of respect was offered to Chambers, befitting his station without being overboard or anything.

“So what are the amazing smells?” grey eyes moving from one to another.
