The Arrow had nothing more that could be said that wasn't turning the statement into a circular conversation. “I can't agree more. I see it as an unwritten agreement that aid is returned when needed. No demands, just mutual teamwork and beneficial cooperation. Manners are always welcome with regards to giving and receiving help so they, of course, should be expected.” He left out any comments on Aurora giving thanks, he knew first hand that she back up her words with her actions. The Scariest and toughest thank you earned... but so worth it.

The Arrow listened to Aurora break it down to him. “Sounds like said mage that would act in this way would either need a damn good reason or it would raise some questions from what you are saying.” And now for the questions rhetorical or not. “Hmm, I think for my position, information are tools to wield in defeating and overcoming the challenges that threaten the allies and other orders. So I think if someone was to deny providing that information then, yea... they would need a substantial reason for not providing it. It goes without saying, any petty reason is unacceptable. I think that there are few who think they are above the laws, and those out themselves eventually, I may have my grievances with the way some things are but I am no fool to allow breaches of the laws to continue. Or begin for that matter. Long answer shorter, Any info that can be passed on... should be passed on, unless a glaring reason to not do so is present.” The Arrow hoped that he understood what Aurora meant correctly.

An interesting point was made, something the Arrow wished to explore. “I agree that different people in an order will do things differently, but is it not the case that the orders themselves share the same goals no matter the location and country? For example a very basic one for the Arrows is that the sleepers and mages alike are to be protected, so the order's mentality is centring around this ideal goal, among other things, is that of fighting to protect. Train to protect those that can not fight back. I will not ask you to openly divulge anything from the Mysterium's... err anything i guess, but do you not think that something similarly happens within your order as well? I of course am happy to be incorrect in any of this but I am curious on what you think of it.” The Arrow always enjoyed hearing another's point of view on topics, it helped broaden the horizons of knowledge. However he spoke confidently as if he was not wrong, because in his mind he was not wrong.

Sighing, “Yes and no. I have to wonder what the reason would be to turn your back on helping bring veil breaches to an end.”

A nod, “Of course Order issues would be discussed behind the scenes. But no one is above the Laws, no matter their Order or their position. At least, that is how I view it. I think we all have grievances with the way some things are done, it’s just natural. But what is important is that you see that no breaches of the Laws can be allowed to continue. And I respect that.” A smile and nod. “I think the Laws are what can bring Orders together, well, if people can and are willing to work together.” And she was glad she felt she could work with him.

Now this was where things would get dicey, “I would have to agree to a certain point. Each Order has their own goals. Who and what are to be protected might vary from Order to Order, and I cannot speak for every Order. Nor do I think every Order will share that goal with someone outside their Order.” Considering his question, “I think that the Mysterium protects what it feels is valuable and important, its ideal goal, and it will fight to protect its goal at all costs. I think that what an Order fights for is inherently important to its core beliefs. That we can’t decide if it’s right or wrong or pass judgement.”

He had an answer to Aurora's question, and he knew that it was not a good one. He shrugged, his face showed his uncomfortable feeling to the words spoken. “Not defending the action or condoning it. The only reason I could muster for such an action is fear of getting roped in on the consequences that would follow the veil breach. It is sadly a problem that is rampant on a smaller stakes scale.” So many call outs at work where he had to hunt down those that ran from the situation instead of helping the injured, those people always got under his skin.

A nod in return. “If there is one thing that renders us all on a level playing field is that the law binds us all to a set of standards and expectation on how to behave. Differences of opinion are bound to happen but if a level of openness to new concepts and view points, is something I feel, goes a long way for order cooperation.” You didn't have to like it, but it is not the important part when it comes to a scenario like the one posed.

He expected a difference of opinion, and he was open to an alternative viewpoint, after all it did not make him incorrect in his mindset because this was not a debate and just a discussion of how we came to such conclusions. “I agree with you, no one order has a correct view on what is important. I think it beneficial that all the orders focus on different perspectives to allow a shared load when it comes to protecting sleepers and mages alike.” He took a moment to take in Aurora's view point on the Mysterium's way of operating. Even with the lack of details as to what they were, which he did not expect her to state, he could understand the base line of what she was saying. “Could not agree more. While judgement and questioning is important to hold each order accountable, when it is needed. If it were not so, then there would either be one order or no order for mages to contribute to.”

Having felt that while they had different approaches to the scenario, they had at least clarified and commented on each others approach enough to be able to move on. He read the Third and final Scenario. Ooo Cabals, not something we have much of currently due to numbers but hey just means it is something to learn from.
“I think in a more simplistic way of dealing with this problem is either a 50-50 split to share its rewards and its maintenance of the Hallow. If it does progress further then that to a duel of control, I think the winner is due a lions share of the hallow while also having the large responsibility of its maintenance. This could be either be split in months or in years, for example the loser cabal could only access the Hallow for one week of each month or one season of the year. On the other hand the winner cabal has access to the Hallow for three weeks of the month or three seasons of the year. When and how can be discussed upon completion of the duel.”

Thinking over his words making sure there are no glaring loop holes. “I think with the inclusion of the access to the Hallow for a period of time counts as a graceful victory clause to the losing Cabal. I don't believe offering a 50-50 split counts as ceding the Hallow so I think it should be alright if a little basic.”

The conversation flows, ideas exchanged and possibilities explored. Reasoning is given and the depth of awakened culture and ideology expanded just a little but as with all things under the lie it must end and so it does. Each mage parting ways with something to reflect on.
