Circle of creation

The Circle of Creation is the gathering hub for all Pentacle mages in the Sacramento Concilium, with chapter houses for all five Orders inside.

Located east of Sacramento and far outside the prying eyes of the inner city, the Circle of Creation awaits the mages of Sacramento. Despite being a replica of the Westminster Abbey, the sleepers who come by never seem to notice it. The wards built into the structure have made sure of this. To all but the Pentacle the Circle is essentially invisible, ensuring the safety of those who enter and engage with one another. Whether it had always been here for the Awakened was hard to say now, but it was the site that the Awakened gather to mingle and discuss official matters.


It is a time for simply for mingling among the Awakened. The common area is large and open, but over the course of the month it's inevitable that people may bump into each other. The official concerns of the Consilium are put on hold as a more lighthearted experience is shared among this community of the Wise. Ultimately, this is the opportunity to let the proverbial hair down. How much so is up to them.

Sancturary is not a single event, or formal Consilium. It's a compression of time to represent the comings, goings, and intersections of Awakened throughout the month at the Cirlce.

[Chambers]

Dressed in a tailored light linen two piece suit, waistcoat and trousers, in a pale grey with onyx buttons the hierarch arrives at the circle of creation unlit pipe between his teeth, short stemmed and bleached white. Quietly grateful for the cool relief the magnificent building provides from the building heat outside. The first of the month is upon them again and that means a few administrative duties, mostly involving the cork board which he approaches and begins to tidy up.

[Chambers]

[Mateus]

Mateus enters the circle, dressed in a white t-shirt and blue trousers holding an iced coffee. He spots the Hierarch arranging the corkboard.
"Greetings, Hierarch Chambers " he says politely.
"I have taken a look at the corkboard and it seems the consilium has some issues." Apparently, size of consilium doesn't mean it doesn't have to deal with the 'usual' issues. Just less manpower.
"I am not as experienced as some of the members," he can't turn Seers to Fish or teleport them to the stratosphere after all, "but I take my word to help defend the consilium I belong to seriously. I am a disciple of Space. " he expects the Hierarch understands what he can do as such. "Please, inform me who I should talk to in order to help to the best of my abilities." he states simply.

[Chambers]

Turning at the sound of approach, the circle of creation offered no privacy in its communal areas the space carried sound well. A gentle smile is offered in greeting. "Mateus, still with us, good good." Usually a positive sign if an arriving mage made it past the first month before skipping town. "I trust everything is squared away regarding your acknowledgement now?" If so a quick check with Salem would quash any doubts.

His attention turned back to the board wit ha sigh. "Yes indeed like anywhere we have our problems." Probably best not to mention just how many of those problems had been the result of consilium mages actions. "It is good of you to offer, the most active mages I know of are councilor Thirteen, and Skye, head of our arrows." Witch also did some work he aware but the reports were more frequent from the other two. "However from I understand each mages does their best to keep a watch where they can and respond to anything out of ordinary." Tapping a few notes to make sure they remained in place. "There is an on going effort to map the ley lines and supernatural elements of the city into something more useful." That was likely the least dangerous task on the long list.

[Aurora]

She was always happy when the weather began to get warmer, summer was her favorite season. It meant shorts, longer nights and just more time for going out.

So she was in a good mood when she walked in, though she wasn’t wearing shorts. But leather pants, still comfortable either way. And of course, sipping coffee.

Eyes see Chambers and she nod, “Hierarch, I hope you are well.” A smile offered as she finds a seat.

“Mateus, looks like your acknowledgement went well. How are you?”

[Mateus]

So, he should talk to Thirteen , that is apparently a councilor and that arrow he hasn't met, Skye . Well, if any of them show up today he will approach them.
Councilor Aurora receives a smile in return. "Greetings, councilor. Yes, my acknowledgement went well. I am doing well, settling in. I am trying to be useful and I am looking out for a potential cabal formation. Solitaires having rights is significant in my view, but personally, I would feel better as part of a cabal. "

[Thirteen]

Speaking of Thirteen, she walked into the Circle, eyes on her phone as she scrolled through something. Probably social media. Dressed in grey denim shorts and a matching jacket over a tee shirt that read 'Your Ray Of Sarcastic Scottish Sunshine Has Arrived'. White trainers completed the summery outfit. Her wild red hair was pulled into a thick bun today.

A moment later, everyone's favorite talking crow swooped in behind her, coming to roost on an outcropping of the cathedral's stone walls. "Hello, ground-huggers!"

The Acanthus came to a stop and looked up from her phone, "Hey, all. Chambers, Aurora, Mateus. What's happenin'?"

[Chambers]

A warm smile is offered as the riveting Shamans arrival draws his attention. "Councillor Aurora. Well as I can be thank you, and like wise I hope all is going well with you?" Turbulent times being what they are it was never a guarantee.

Mateus then proceeds to completely ignore both the comments and questions the hierarch which is well, rather rude. Aurora was well a beautiful confident powerful presence he understood that, but still. "Well Mateus the consilium numbers under ten mages, and you'd need a minimum of three to for ma cabal. Something tells me that you might be working at that goal for some time." True he did not know the views of every mage in the matter but as no cabals had yet formed up he had a good feeling no one was rushing to join up. "And a word of advise, maybe consider the impression you give others if your looking for their allegiance in such a way." A good half the consilium had witnessed his first appearance being well poorly thought out.

The arrival of one of the mentioned mages could almost considered fateful, it fact it could well have been. Or a total coincidence. hard to know for sure with those who walk the path of the thistle. "Councillor Thirteen." She to gets his warm smile. "And Jinx." A welcome was not to much to give the familiar. "Not to much all in all, updating the information, here, your newer updates are very interesting." He had not been sure what to make of Skye's but Thirteen had found out some useful things.

[Aurora]

A single nod, “Glad to hear it, arriving to a new city can always be a challenge.” Which was true. Then an eyebrow raised in amused surprise, “Are you now? Then I wish you luck with such a lofty goal.” There wasn’t a problem with such goals, hey, reach for those stars. If that’s what he wanted, she wished him luck.

Cup was raised in greeting, “Hey Thirteen! Love the shirt. Not a whole lot, you?” eyes then turning to the crow, “Hi Jinx, how’s my favorite bird doing? Getting into any trouble lately?”

Taking a sip before looking back to Chambers, “Doing pretty good, some of my research is advancing well, I expect a payoff soon.” Nodding with a pleased smile. Hoping to soon be focused back on the Mysterium Ward and her language studies.

The blonde simply follows the conversation this time and doesn’t say anything. Sometimes she needed to just stay out of things and not give her two cents.
