Brown eyes centered on Witch, "Bear's at our front door, mate. This isn't pokin' it. This is tryin' to barricade the door." She was reminded of something, and continued on a different tangent. "Almost forgot about the Acamoth dagger thing. Did Skye relate to you what I researched?" There was a questioning glance towards the blonde Arrow, before she returned her gaze to her fellow redhead, "Wax show's been runnin' for about twenty years, give or take. Travels mostly through the west and south states. About five years ago, they rebranded to lean into a horror theme. Reviews shifted from borin' to creepy. I figure that's probably about when the dagger came into the picture." The Acanthus gave a shrug. "That's all I could find. There's just not that much written about them."
The Thistle Mage scanned the room, then nodded, "Okay. Seems the consensus is we drop the Hunter angle. That's fine. It's like fifty fewer things that can go wrong. Odds of success just improved. Slightly."
She listened to Asclepius' statement, patiently, before making her own response. "I'm a downer. I expect the worst to happen. I see the chances and they're not good. Curse of my Path, I suppose. We all see it. I just don't play at bein' the manic pixie dream girl to cover it up. If my luck goes well it's because I force it to happen. The blessin' of my Path." Thirteen sighed, "I don't do hope. I hate cheerleaders. If you want some emotional support, please just ignore me."
