I saw a girl leaving the place the night that it happened, used to know her. Her name is Elle, she was armed to the hilt and pointing a Sig Sauer straight into the front door as she backed out of it. She looked like she'd seen a ghost. She jumped into her car and pealed off, the last I saw her.

Kai looked around. He really did enjoy being in this place. He knew it was a supernal hotbed, but he was willing to bet that each probably had an interesting story.
He walked over to the bar to order another vodka tonic, keeping an eye on Davis's office, resisting the urge to find out what was being said in there.

Charles's drink was about half way to his lips before he stopped. the whole time Charles had been in the city and dealing with formality he was not feeling himself being over whelmed by the new surroundings and Icarus telling him he must host the next familly get together. but suddenly something clicked.
Charles was smiling with the that hint of smugness he used to have. he felt his confidence come back to him.
sooooo the great and powerful Icarus want me to trow me a party for our great Convenient....I CAN DO THAT. I have done it all my life this will be easy and on top that I will earn at least some respect by the stuffed up old farts.
Charles put down the drink and tuned in his seat.
this place will do nicely now if I can get the owner to let me use the VIP area for the night.
he turns to the Bar tender and asks "who is the owner of this place"
