It seemed like forever since Kai had been to Avalon. He needed a break. Hell, if Davis was there, he might have to sit down and have a few drinks. Was he a monster for killing that Banisher? He didn't think so in conscious mind. The bad dreams had said otherwise though. He needed a night out.
"How's it going tonight?" He looked at the bartender. "Vodka tonic please"

"I've been great. We made a little progress on the problem we've been working on, though our bosses would probably say its not enough. Had to make an example of someone" Kai smiled. His dreams said he should have felt some sort of guilt about it, but monsters came in all forms, and the banishers were an abomination.
"Learned a couple new tricks that will keep me under the radar as well."

Kai chuckles "I sometimes enjoy killing mangy dogs. As for the help, we are at a bit of a stand still. We have to do a little more investigating before we know where the absolute root of the problem lies. But if there's something I come across that I can share and not worry about putting others at risk, I'll let you know. Did anyone take care of your last visitor. I'd be up for doing that pro bono."

He clears his throat, waiting for the Hound to have a spare moment.

I am so underdressed it's not even funny.
I'm carrying a motorcycle helmet, and still wearing what pretty much amount to 'riding leathers'. Though my hair is neat--because I've become incredibly conscious of myself lately--and I just...look like a rebellious rich-kid, considering my current attire looks like it would probably cost the equivalent to what a middle-class household scrapes in over the course of a month. Maybe two.

I'd brought Holly with me, and keeping up the 'breathing' thing is difficult when all I smell around is sweat, too much (bad) perfume and cologne, and a whole lot of other things that I leave to other's imagination, because I don't even want to think about what else is invading my nostrils.
Ugh.
But Davis had told me (us) to meet him here, and so here I am.
...I hate nightclubs.
