Elle walks smartly beside Asa, her sniffling done with, quite excited about going on a new adventure with the handsome Sheriff. She doesn't even look at the piteous wreckage that is her Sang Noir.
So, is this a shoot to kill? Capture him? Stake him? I haven't been on a blood hunt before...

Climbing in the car, Asa put the address Karsh had given him into the nav system and headed out. Looking over at Elle, he commented, "I like this Elle much better than streetwalker Elle."

She eyes him, trying to figure out how much she can trust him.
I'm still getting used to the fact that Kindred aren't like mortals in that I can play them like a harp when I wear a low cut shirt....Our kind seem to be more of a challenge.. she smiles brightly at him, looking less wicked and more simply pretty when she does so.
I have weaponry, do you have anything to carry just in case?

Asa noticed Kira wandering around the parking lot like she was looking for something, and gave her a curious look before continuing. Must have business of her own.
He smiled at Elle, "No, we like low cut shirts plenty, too... there's just business to take care of." Asa drummed his fingers on the steering wheel, thinking. "I think we'll just check the office out, see if anyone's home before we start thinking about weapons. When we locate him, I'll probably call... the Sheriff, and the Hounds."

Why is he being hunted?
Asa didn't know. Although the connection with Maze was certainly not good. The proximity of the office to the Circle of Creation didn't help either.
He looked at Elle and shook his head slightly. "I have no idea... but the Sheriff told me, and the Harpy confirmed it. Ah, and yes, prepared is good." He smiled slightly.
"What part of town are you staying in? I need to know so that when it starts to get early I'll know how much time I need to drop you off and get myself back."

Odd...Well, I guess the authority doesn't have to give reasons. I was going to ask you, since, Bella...well I wasnt on my best behavior with her, she said I shouldnt go get acknowledged alone, would you mind taking me in the next couple of days? she asks, sounding a little nervous actually.
She waits a moment to reply to his second question.
Its pretty far down in the industrial side of town, I have a nice warehouse... If its too far, you're welcome to stay with me... she murmurs, sounding like an honest offer, not a hint of seduction in her voice.

~~NARRATION~~
As Asa pulls into the small parking lot of the building, the place looks utterly deserted. It also appears to have been deserted for a while now. The paint is peeling, the sign that was once painted with bright colors, is muted and faded. One could barely make out the "Maze Realty" written in flowing script.
It is a small building. It looks as if it was once a small house that had been converted. All of the windows have been boarded and the door looks securely closed.
There is no sound or signs of movement coming from the abandoned looking building.

Asa closed his eyes for a few seconds, and then replied. "I seriously doubt he's here, but I don't have anything else to go on. That," he pointed to the sign, "doesn't help, either. Why is the head of the Carthian Movement sharing an office with the former head of the Invictus?"
Getting out, Asa surveyed the property.
I've really got to learn to see in the dark. This is getting old.
"Let's walk the perimeter and see if we find anything?" he asked Elle.

Asa nodded, and sighed inwardly. It had been so many decades since he had done things like this for the Wizard, he had forgotten everything.
"All right, I'm game, let me go get a flashlight," Asa said walking back to the car. Grabbing a flashlight and a tire iron, he returned. After pulling the boards off, he handed Elle the flashlight and made a cradle out of his hands to boost her up.

As Asa helps Elle up and through the opening in the wall, (it has no panes of glass, so it can hardly be called a window) she finds herself in a dimly lit room. It has a ceiling fan, a desk, a chair, a lamp, and a closet door that is slightly ajar.
The rooms smells of mold and dust and it would be uncomfortably cold in here if you had a habit of caring about the temperature.

As the two search the remainder of the place, they do not find much of interest. There is one other office room and then the main room, a small kitchen and a small bathroom. They find two fliers. One for a church, and another one for a chinese place that used to be up the road.
