Anatole might feel a breeze over his cheek before getting feeling a splurt of whatever passes for blood in Iron Meg's veins.

James didn't have a lot of time to make a decision. The decision had been made when he drew the knife and he knew it, could feel the weight of it in his hand. He would have to draw blood today, maybe even take a life.
Us or them right?
If only everything could be that simple. Circe, the Summer Queen, the Iron Spear was handling Meg. His help wouldn't be needed there but Rhodes, well, he had seen better days. Split second, one decision. He slipped from the shadows, using the chaos of battle to his advantage. While his body moved his eyes flicked forward, looking at the eddies of fate of the turn of events and followed their path to its inevitable conclusion. That was the thing about fate. It was inevitable.
He came out of nowhere and Slipped the knife into the guards side, ramming the blade in and kept moving the blade from side to side hopefully tearing at muscle and flesh.
Hopefully James' stealth lets him attack from Surprise. Either way he uses Glimpse of Fortunes' Favor Reflexively to roll twice and take the best result. Seeing as they're both the same, he'll take the first one in case there's defense and armor and such.

In contrast Iron Meg roars as another bullet pierces through her grey hide. Them, a reflex, a Pavlovian response, she bites down. Her tusks already red-brown of dried blood, now gleam with Anatole's.

Gulping fear striking over her, for a split second trying to decide whether to drop her pepper spray or not ultimately choosing to let her arms down and let it fall to the ground but at least as short of a fall as possible. She would need full use of her hands for what was to come. Now unarmed as she call upon one of her most favorite techniques calling forth the protection of the wyrd as she takes a deep breath whilst rushing towards the dread lord, making sure to stay behind all the others to not make a target of herself and staying clear of the hideous beast busy with biting through the noble barkeep. A tear running down her cheek as she could not be of aid for him and from the immense fear rushing through her at least Circe had the ogress in her sights and that is how she would let it remain not that she would even dare to get to close to the monstrous being.
Rushing up behind the dread lord intending to help him remain standing, to help him back away and to look over his wounds before they get to severe to be beyond helping hoping that John would have the guards attention as they hopefully pulls back biting down in anger that she had not thought to bring a proper med kit.

The Flowering gasps as the spear drives home. He could not win this. He knew it.
However, he had his final option.
He snarled, looking the guard dead in the eye.
"Autumn's here."
Rhodes bursts into a flurry of red and gold leaves. They still have the vague shape of a person, but the Dread Lord has become an avatar of Autumn - a swirling, partially insubstantial whirl of fall colour.
Origins Is all good. I figured I would need to do something fancy
Rhodes activates Riding the Falling leaves, gaining +6 def until he drops leaf form and taking his def to 10. Saber Sloth Mr Right is up!

The Succubus slinks towards the Dread King, ready to offer aid, but Autumn's King has magic and might up his sleeve, and so he explodes into a shower of autumnal leaves.
The Guard on the Right's eyes widen, as another appears not expecting the Monkey he slashes at her!

Silently, she thanks Sonnie for coming to help her.
While she wanted to get to Rhodes side and help him, she had other problems. But with the Beast there, she looks to Iron Meg, tearing into the dwarf, and calls upon to Wyrd to Bless Anatole. To give him a little bit of help to break free.
Sera calls upon Favored Fate (Hearth 2) to give Anatole Yumyumcrow 'The beneficiary of Favored Fate makes the roll for his next actively attempted instant action at a +4 dice bonus.'

This is what the Claviger wanted. Errol Flynn's attention is now on her, and not the Nix. Good.
Well, he is trying to stab her now. Not so good.
Sonnie was a highly trained martial artist. Endless hours of practice and sparring had taught her to tell if an incoming attack was going to get past her standard defensive stance. That blade was going to penetrate.
Heehee, penetrate.
FOCUS!
So, the Beast upped her defense game. More of her energy in that moment was keyed into evasion and blocking. She leaned away and spun her staff to slap the thin sword aside.
The Wizened's only reward was the sound of chittering simian laughter.... oh, and getting smacked with her quarterstaff again.
Sonnie spends a Willpower to gain +2 Defense for this attack. Subtracting from the right of the Right Wizened's attack pool, Sonnie takes no damage.

Anatole howls.
He howls when Iron Meg bites down on him! He is still screaming when she stops, leaving a bloody trail of masticated and pulverised flesh in her wake. He is screaming still when he feels the surge of Seraphina's blessing...
And in that moment he tries his luck once more. Squirming in the Ogre's monstrous grip, he flexes his vein-throbbing muscles and attempts to turn Meg's grip to his advantage.
He got nowhere!

Bobby's Elemental Furry shudders, shrinking in on itself as it focuses on his hands. He drops to a low crouch, and starts slowly moving towards where Iron Meg had pinned the howling Anatole.
He puts one flaming hand on the Ogress' ankle.
The Great Beast shudder, eyes loosing their fight as they cloud over in pain....
Seeing Rhodes' Mastery of that Autumn Contract, the Guard on the Left's eyes widen as he tries to hit the swirling leaves!
