In truth, Edwin had tried his best when trying to come up with an idea for the Court but all he knew about superheroes and villains came from movies. So, he went with that. Something simple yet symbolic, an image that had remained with him ever since he first witnessed the transformation between man to something more....super.
The suit? A cheap two-piece that a simple journalist could afford. The tie, also. The spectacles on his face were horn-rimmed and felt weird on the Lord's face but he put up with them. It was the sweep-over that was really hard for Edwin to get used to. No products (well, a little bit), it just felt....wrong. Still, it was only for one night. Tomorrow, everything would be back to normal.
He could appreciate the concept behind the Court, the duality. Inside, the Beast warred for dominance. Sometimes, it gave its strength but needed to be controlled otherwise one could quite easily turn quickly from hero to villain, if one was looking at it in such black and white terms. Edwin grinned.
Around him were some pretty awesome outfits, many of which he had no idea who they represented, but it certainly seemed the ladies of the domain had definitely gone all out to impress. A Hel of a lot of tight leather and spandex. Adjusting his glasses as he walked down the steps, Edwin made sure the symbol was on full display as his shirt was partially torn open and tie loosened, tossed across one shoulder. Without anyone in particular, at least for now, Edwin mingled.
