Felix was not a warrior, but he had never shied away from combat. Predators rarely give their prey a chance to strike, but this was not a Hunt and Emily was not prey. She was family and this fight was done for a sacred purpose insofar as Felix was concerned.

As Emily charged Felix braced himself, ready to take on the Blue Maned Crescent's fury just as she had agreed to endure his. Still her ferocity surprised the Meninna and that expression was prevalent even as he felt Emily plowed her hands into him. The strikes caused the balding wolfman to look at Emily's face, a renewed feral glint held within his eyes.

She was strong, but Felix had suggested the bout. He had to endure at least long enough to understand the Ithaeur. Thus, he moved in to strike, placing weight in his punches.

Felix's Defense is 3. Also first time fighting in EoD. Are your reroll's bold? I ask because Felix is either taking 2B or 3B here! Subtracted your Defense!

Okay, so in a nutshell, Felix will take 3B.

For simplicity of calculation, if the defender's dice are not subtracted before the roll, the dices are subtracted from the furthest right. So in this case, we would take the 7,6 & 3 from Emily's roll, and there are 3 successes remaining.

However, at the start of your turn as a mighty Uratha we recover 1 Bashing reflexively, so Felix is now on 2B!

I'll take Felix's defense off in future, so you only need to count the successes

The Irakka's blow sends Emily back a few paces. She touches her jaw as the bruise blooms and vanishes as her natural healing fixes up his swing. The Ithaeur grins ferally at her early success and Felix's surprise, letting out a small chuckle.Heh. Crescents are fighters too, old man.

She attacks again with a powerful gut-punch, hoping to get some more licks in and overcome their superhuman vigour.

Rather than change our sig every punch, I'm just going to record it as a post-script here. Emily is on one Bashing!

d10 re-rolls are in BOLD.

DEFENCE takes away from the total dice pool, starting at the right most number. So if Felix's Defence is 3, he would be removing 3, 6, 7 from the pool before damage is calculated. FELIX will take 3B.

Hector began, perhaps a little too feebly. He managed to get a hand partially raised, but by then the Ithaeur and the Irakka were already facing off...

Felix sees the effects of his own blows, noting the strike from Emily's first has not yet fully healed. He knows he's worse off, but this old wolf isn't ready to wilt. Not yet.

Good hit, little wolf.

Felix is unable to out manuever the Ithaeur's strike to his gut, causing him to wince momentarily and take a step back. Yet that blow would heal. Looking to the blue-maned Crescent, Felix returns her grin with one of his own. No more smirks. No more subtlety. Felix allowed his face to show his full glee.

The younger Uratha may have the upper hand, but this isn't about winning. Moving back in on his opponent, Felix goes in for a right hook, looking to collide it with Emily's ribs.

"Oooff!" Emily feels her ribs rattle as the blow impacts, but nothing feels broken. Yet.

The Ithaeur feels the pulse rising in her ears. For once she can allow it to be thrilling, and not care about the dangers. There isn't a trap here. No Cunning rouse, or hosts lieing in wait, or Jagglings lumbering to bat her aside.

It's just the fight. Just the thrill.

It's all so.... Pure.

Emily jumps high at Felix to come down and strike from above...

...slamming a full force punch into the side of Felix's head.

Emily takes 1B & heals 1B, so 1B total!

Stray, you heal 1B at the start of each of your turns, so Felix would be on 2B, going up to 5B now before you heal on this turn

Now that.

That Felix felt. Felix stumbled back a few steps and nearly fell. Shaking his head to try and clear out some of the ringing, Felix would look at his new packmate with an expression of pride pushing through the pain.

Damn good idea, Felix. Look at her. Purity.Felix would let out a laugh, a strange sound due to the Dalu forms more animalistic tone. It was almost a growl or some other guttural utterance, "Hell yeah, Em! Let's fucking go!" The balding wolf's voice was ecstatic, his excitement also apparent as it rippled through his normally cautious form.

Lunging again in a wild gait, the Meninna would ball his fist and heave it forward, aiming for the Crescent's face.

Emily pulls her head to the side, the blow landing solidly with her shoulder. She grunts at the impact, but now her ribs are feeling fine. She growls excitedly, teeth bared

With Felix in close, she ducks in and dives at his chest, taking the pair of them to the ground in a rough heap and blur of fists.

Umm.... Go Emily?

Total damage is 1B.

The sudden charge takes Felix by surprise and he indeed bowls over.

Then come the fist, smashing into his form before the Meninna has time to react. Yet the look on the balding Dalu's face is not one of horror or anger. In between the winces of pain, the Meninna grins with his gaze one of admiration and respect.

And when a pause in the blue-maned Ithaeur's fury occurs, Felix does nothing, remaining beneath her. The old wolf simply extends his hands out to the sides, remaining on the ground and closing his eyes to take in the feeling of his bruised form. Anything further could lead to something more than bruising and the Meninna does not want to risk Kuruth with his new packmate.

Felix is beaten.

He laughs, a weak and tired sound, but genuine in its purpose as he opens his eyes again to look up at Emily.

"I am beaten, sister Emily," he offers his voice soft and sure as he acknowledges his defeat with an air of respect for the Crescent, "and I can say it is good to Know you."

And that's it. Felix remains downed, awaiting the Crescents response to his yield.

Felix deals no damage, heals 1B, and takes 3B. Felix sits at 7B and remains laying on the ground, denying himself his Defense.
