No one listens.

Okay, not totally, but it's a totally short list.

Intent? Perception? Sometimes they're Lies, sometimes they're Illusions, and sometimes they're both. A lot of the time, they're mirrors. It isn't always about what something is, or isn't, but the illusion of perception that can become a lie.

And sometimes the only way to prevent a Lie is with an Illusion.

"Hey, uh," eyes flickered to Avis . Completely casual and innocent words dismissed the proceedings as if it had been a discussion about the weather. "Did you eat? I'm, like, starving."

Because dropping the mic. And maybe answers.

We already missed the threshold to put this in the books for Consilium, but I'm fine to wind down/post out.

[Truce]

"Ehem," Truce clears his throat while folding his hands behind his back. It's clear that several Magi were ready to depart after the exchange of heated words.

"Well, it was Star's suggestion, Sentinel, but I'm pleased to do my part," corrects Truce, not wishing to suddenly take credit for the idea of apprenticeship or the Oath. "Miach, let's arrange time to speak more on your lessons as soon as possible."

With a nod to Star and the Mastigos Councilor, Truce makes his intentions to leave known to those present.

[Avis]

"Good luck," Avis said, nodding to Truce and his new apprentice.

Really, she meant it. She hoped Miach could be guided to the Truth, and that Truce would find himself learning more in the process, too.

For now, though, there was nothing else for her to do, so leaving it was.

"You choose the place," she said to Star as she turned to leave the museum behind.

[Crowley]

"Good. Good. Yeah. Good." Crowley mumbled in an absent haze.

The urge to leave was writ large on the Enchanter's face now. He barely waited for Star and Avis to make their exit before he headed out himself. He managed to hold back long enough to bob his head in the other's direction, just enough for decorum's sake. He had to escape this place; he didn't need the Sight for him to see Star's fiery aura imprinted upon the room.

It was only when he was on his bike that he realised just how much his hands were shaking.

He couldn't ride. Not like this. So he struggled with his lighter and a crushed cigarette from his pocket.

[Wayland]

So, Miach was now apprenticed to Truce for some "social readjustment". Wayland had just about all he could handle for now. "Yo, i'm gonna go if no one needs me here anymore. Miach, come see me when you get back to the Sanctum hey."

Leaving the museum, he sees Crowley take off in the distance. Standing outside, he suddenly feels very alone. First Varyx leaves, Faust disappears, then Miach turns out to be someone he cant rely on, at least for the forseeable future. The Phoenix are crumbling, but then, isnt that what the creature of myth did? Fall only to rise again from the ashes? There is nothing wrong with change, as long as you forge it into something useful.

Possibilites enter the young Moroi's mind, but for now, he hasn't the will to work through them. Time for a trip to St Mary's cemetary. It had been a while since he had been there. The shades there feel more like family lately anyway bro.

Vassagon Definitly, yes !

With the matter seemingly settled satisfactorily for everyone, and everyone taking their leave, it left the Curator of the Mysterium of Sacramento to wonder where it had all gone wrong... apparently, he was given pointers by the local Wises, and should rely on the Necromancer Councilor first among them... He would need them, because he was not only drained, but completly puzzled too.

"I'll get in touch tomorrow ?" he offered to his newfound Master. Best start early indeed, because they may need much work... Avis and Star's departure was met with a mixture of relief and indifference. Whatever had happened was done, and it only remained to deal with it, now. As for his Cabalmate, Miach merely nodded, gave him a weak smile, and a quick thumbs up. Will do.

Clearly though, those were done mostly on social auto-pilot. The Acanthus was lost in himself...
