David Barton 19 - Autolycus 14 - Leah Penderson 11 - Ozymandias 11 (lower mod)
The closet door slid open, and from within it, a shotgun poked out, aiming right at the two welcome guests. Within the shadowy closet with the butt of the gun held professionally against his shoulder was a male figure kneeling.
Snarlequin - it's your turn!

"Put your safeties on."
An average observer might think that he was trying to give orders to the two Sleeper gunmen. Trying to calm the situation down.
No, he's giving orders to the guns.
He moves wherever he needs to go to keep both weapons in his line of sight.
Control Objects - both guns, potency 7, 1 willpower, 1 mana
As Autolycus moves to keep Penderson and Barton in his line of sight, Penderson states authoritatively, "Get down on the ground!" as in one smooth, practiced motion, she snaps a can of police pepper spray out of its holster, puts it in Autolycus's face, and fires.
Her brow knit in confusion. How did that not stick?!
fail to pepper spray

Mandy's hands simply raised as she watched the woman, blinking a few times. Really? Was this where they were at?
Time to process.
Two opponents: one with a shotgun, in closet, the other with pepperspray and probably a gun.
Innocents? Three. Both sleeper opponents, and a child.
Desired outcome? No casualties. Identity of electricution man. Their silence.
"Ma'am, we aren't here to hurt anyone."
Resolution? Calm the situation right the hell down. Let Autolycus take cover. Let them be concerned. But ease the situation. Offer hints of honesty. Get this cleared up.
David Barton held his position, shotgun aimed directly at Autolycus. Who the fuck told someone to put their safeties on?
"Yeah? What do you want?"
Aim.

"To talk, Jesus Christ." Really Mandy? I got a shotgun pointed at me and I just got almost-maced and you try to talk your way out of this? If it was up to him, they'd rabbit and come back later. He's not going to just leave Mandy alone with the cop that's ready to pepper spray at the drop of a hat though, or Mr Shotgun.
Auto holds his action, but maintains concentration on the spell
Leah's pepper spray remained up and ready. "Bullshit. You know what we saw somehow. What's there to talk about?"
Her eyes flicked back and forth between the two with all the ferocity of a momma bear with mace and a pistol protecting her cave.
We'll maintain initiative order, but feel free to speak more. It's sort of a tense situation, where if anybody does anything to make it worse, it'll explode - but you can talk.
"Yes, we know what you saw," Mandy conceded, watching the woman and not lowering her hands. "And we're concerned that there may be more people in danger, including mister electricity himself. We don't, however, know everything you know. You saw what happened, we only have word-of-mouth on what may have happened, and no identification on the assailant.
"Why are we here? Because you made a bold, open statement that alerted us. We don't mean anyone any harm. I can't necessarily say the same for others," she added. "And you may have endangered yourselves, as well. That's the last thing we want to see happen again - to anyone. So please, can we put away the weaponry and talk about this like civilized human beings?"
1sux to pursuade them to talk. -1WP
Barton did not lower his gun, but he didn't kill anybody, either. "And who are you? You're not cops, otherwise you wouldn'tve tried to bullshit your way through this, knowing who we were. Don't you get it? People don't shoot lightning out of their hands, but this guy did. How is that even possible? And how are you so calm about it?"
