After disengaging, Ixidor makes a sweeping look to take stock of reactions as the Sentinel calls for the lot of them. It's a hell of a thing. And he really admires Seren's gusto, for what it's worth.
Mainly because-- "I was going to offer to do that..."
He says it as his stride takes him within speaking distance of her. The tone has a play at sounding hurt, or one-upped. But that's all it is. Ix has that look about him, which he often does, that he's trying to play it cool and fight back a grin.
The person Squaring the Circle will likely be someone more politically appropriate, but you never know.

Jonokuchi was about to begin a conversation with Striker and the man introduced as Kite. However, something far more important had arisen, and he had simply stood by, silent, observing matters.
He was also wondering if he should disrobe for the foot race. A kimono could be quite difficult to run in.

In truth, Aquinas expected Leo's reaction. He had expected it from more, honestly. He expected that Avalon had her supporters and those would be less than pleased about his challenge. He did at least expect Right of Crossing would be observed but one could never be too careful. So, Aquinas was rather unfazed in the face of the Aether's fiery-wrath made manifest in the Sentinel.
Then again, Aquinas was generally the unflappable sort.
One could probably thank his teenaged girls for that.
The Mastigos only nodded in acquiescence to Leo's 'request' and let the First Talon lead on. However, Aquinas did touch Seren's elbow and offered her a quick nod in response to her oath of support and her stepping forward to Square the Circle in a month.
As Ixidor joined the group heading to a more private location, Aquinas quietly asides to him, “I suppose that went as well as it could have...”

Avalon barely acknowledges Leo's 'request.' Her features were pained and her lips drawn into a thin-line. Her eyes dart here and there, looking and trying to gauge a Consilium that was quickly slipping through her fingers. The Hierarch is a swirl of fire as she turns on her heels heading to the dormitories without much prompting. Knowing her way around the Circle proved to a boon as she did not need to wait for Leo to head to the dorm in question.
The Challenge was laid and thus was it sacrosanct according to the Gold Laws.
For Avalon, there was very little else to say.
She simply seethed.

Leaving the new Ladder Vincent had started to make his way over to Ariadne and whoever she was talking with. But with Leo calling a meeting of the big wigs, she had left and he could no longer ask what was going with Avalon and the duel.
"Hey." he drawing near to Autolycus. "I was hoping to catch the lady you were just talking to but.." he shrugged. "Name's Reverb." he offered his hand good naturally.

Perhaps a little later to the party than is healthy in this consilium, Orpheus had stepped into the Circle and caught a whiff of nervousness and anxiety in the air.
The mystagogue just kinda stood there a few moments, awkwardly, one eyebrow raised in the universal question 'what?'
Best he figure out now, it didn't do for the Herald to be the least informed around. Making a quick survey of the room, Orpheus makes for the nearest conversation.

He was surprised when he saw someone he knew. Other than The Girls. His eyes had landed on Asp, and that's when he saw @Autolycus ( Snarlequin ), but he'd stopped to watch Mandy go all Battleship on The Epopt.
Seeing the Mystagogue free, he bounced over.
"Hey, man. 'Sup? Long time. Thanks for the help with that thing*. What'cha been up to? Seen Nous or Samus since?"
He didn't have to ask about Mandy. Because Moxie.
