For a second, he pondered trying to get in off camera. But why? If Mandy needed help, it meant they were all over it. Which meant it needed to get done -- and if it got done, it wouldn't matter if he were on it or not.
Go hard or go home.
So he strolled towards the side of the building, looking for an entry point other than the main entrance.
Cut
Cut moseyed about the building. It was such a pleasant day - at least, if you liked the heat. At least, a bit of a breeze had started. That was a blessing, no doubt, for the workers on the rooftop above.
He found a fire escape on the side of the building with a drawn up ladder on the side of the building. Below it was a side emergency exit. It did not have a handle - it was one of those doors that opened only from the inside.

Approaching the door he looked for two things.
The first, any indication an alarm would sound if the door was opened; either by warning signs or electricity running to it. The second, for any way to pull at the door if he unlocked it.
Cut
There was indeed electricity running to the door, a flickering blue line in Cut's sight as he studied it. It was, after all, an emergency door.
Cut: Wits+Larceny please. Specs relating to security or opening/picking doors/locks or anything of that ilk are appropriate.

Cut can see that if he has something thin enough and hard enough, he might be able to hook something through the door and open it up. A wire coat hanger might do it, but it would be tough because the metal isn't that strong. The alarm is still an issue. It'd be a tough sell for a regular thief.
The Guardian's no normal sneak, though...

Rule One?
Never pick a lock if there's an open door already.
He whipped out his phone and fired off a text.
Shit.
There's no time to think, there's barely enough time to react. "Mandy," Auto whispers urgently to the Guardian as he leans in, "someone is coming, you need to kiss me!"
It would work, he was sure. If whoever was coming was watching the cameras, they would have seen two people sneaking into an unoccupied room for some love. This way they wouldn't have to mind wipe or assault whoever it was.

Typing out a text message back to Cut of her own, she slipped her phone away into a pocket just in time for Autolycus' words.
Blue eyes gave him a vacant stare, wondering what on earth the man was thinking. Kiss him? Just like that? What on earth was this about? Who did he think she was, exactly? They weren't here for nookie, they had a job to do, for crying out loud! "What...?"
