He's not an Arrow. "I say we go after the two witnesses who say they saw it go down and pass any relevant info to the Arrows if there's going to be an Adept hunt. Worst comes to worse, we can break into their home at some point, download something incriminating onto their computers and someone can make a confidential tip to the cops. They'll get arrested and their systems will get confiscated as evidence." It wasn't the nicest thing to do, but if they didn't shut up it would have to be done.

"I'm going to go with, 'that's dumb but I'm not stopping you'," he offered. Find out the hard way, that's what he always said. Or did. It sounded like he and Nous were on the same page, anyway. So he wouldn't be alone in Principal Ari's office if it blew up in their faces.

"And, what Autolycus said. These posts need to stop, and, that's my thing. Not sure if Electro needs stopping... and that's not really my thing...

A finger pointed at Nous, a mop of hair bobbed, and he began tapping away at his phone.

Because you type faster on a phone when you say it out loud, too.

"OK, so, bait's out there. That set thing you mentioned, that's solid," he mused. Fishing time. "You, umm, work in the business?"

"I wouldn't have suggested the IP address idea if I wasn't capable of doing it," Mandy sighed a little, shaking her head, but glad Cut had taken her meaning easily enough. She wasn't his mother to tell him what to do. She didn't think it was the best of ideas, but that was her thought.

Regardless, dealing with the Forces Adept did seem like a thing that should at least be commented on. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's a Banisher problem here in Sacramento already, isn't there? I wasn't thinking this situation was hunting down some supervillain, but if he's tossing around lightning so carelessly... they might end up being on his trail, too. This isn't some witch hunt," Mandy frowned, "but a stern talking-to would do him some good. Before he gets himself killed. Unless you're suggesting we leave him to die?" she inquired, raising a brow at Autolycus.

"THE Business?" The meaning to those words is multifaceted and can be taken in far too many ways. She tries to not jump to the negative connotation, but it's difficult considering how often it is taken out of context. Especially when there's little context to be read. "I have access to a studio, yes. If we can just get them to come to us without needing their IP addresses, it's a step we don't exactly need to take. I have faith that you're more than capable of finding their location."

She starts mapping out in her head how to set up the studio for the pseudo-interview. They'll need a couple of people on the cameras and an interviewer.

"Don't misunderstand me, I think we might still find some useful information about them by grabbing their addresses. We might be able to put them into context."

The idea of stringing them along felt awkward. They are going to simultaneously think they're learning more about the secrets of the world and be told they're not learning anything at all. Breaking hearts. It never really gets easy to do.

Not gonna lie, Mandy's going to be dragging Cut off by the ear to give him a stern talking to, but then yeah, she needs to get herself somewhere with computer access. So have a few rolls while she does her research and work.

Once she got home, an IP Address mask was required, just in case, fairly simply. Next came the actual tracking of the IP addresses that were linked to those accounts, finding them, tracking that down. She was on a mission and she was focused about it - she always was when it came to things like this. It didn't matter what the others decided they were doing, aside from the fact that they were idiots and that sort of thing was liable to simply make these people more paranoid. The more paranoid they were, the more protection was going to go up, so she had to do this now.

There were reasons she worked best on her own. Really. If these people managed to scare off their leads at this point, she wasn't going to be impressed. At all.

When did he suggest they leave the breaches to die? How like a Guardian stereotype, jump right to murder through negligence. If they were in jail, they couldn't very well go running into Banishers now, could they?

Everyone was splitting up, obviously. Doing the research thing wizards are expected to do. His forum trawling finished up shortly after, Autolycus decided to make a library run, like a good Mystagogue should whenever they need to think about a problem. Once there he spent a good two hours digging through any records or news reports, looking for recent accidental electrocutions and downed power lines in South Sacramento. If a location and possible address of the witnesses wouldn't help them with the breaches, it might help anyone hunting Thunderpunch in the future.

He makes sure to tell everyone where he's going before he goes. Don't want them to think he's wandered off into the bowels of their headquarters.

She has a plan for the studio set, and it's easy enough to get the chairs set up where they need to be to pull off an interview. She doesn't know if it's going to even be necessary, but it's better to have a backup plan even if they didn't end up needing it.

She has chairs and cameras and everything she might need to mock up an interview. She can even turn the cameras on now that they don't require film to run. You never know when a digital record can be useful. She will need to dump it down onto her work computer and get it into the hands of someone higher up the food chain in the consilium. If they weren't going to take down Mr. Lightning Hands, she plans to make sure it ends up in the hands of a Sentinel. It's not necessarily her preferred method for dealing with veil breaches, but even with politics involved it can get taken care of.

Setting up the set waits until after they're done shooting for the day, and it doesn't take long at all. Point a few cameras at the chairs and aim a few lights and that's plenty to use. All she'll need to do is press the record button in the control room on the night. She just hopes that either they take Cut's bait or Ozymandias can find where they live and they can take the interview to them.
