Tonight Emma was dressed in a red top and black jeans, her hair was pulled back with a butterfly hair clip. A strand of dark hair had come loose and kept tickling her face as she adjusted the table. Emma arraigned the chairs and study materials in one of Avalon's Elysian Conference Rooms. On the table was a pile of colored postit flags, pens, and paper. On the wall was a large pad of paper. Emma also had a laptop open to google maps. They would find him.
Emma looked around the room. Something was missing . Hmmm, Oh I didnt lay out any drinks like Martha does. Emma said out loud. Oh well, this is a working meeting not a social one." Emma sat to wait for the others and started looking through the book again, this time using the postits to mark important sections.
A few minutes later, Tracy stepped into the conference room, wearing an outfit that was similar to that of her cousin. It was her usual getup; black jeans, red tank top, leather jacket and combat boots. By this point, it should come as no surprise to anyone, since she only switched it up when she had to attend Formal Court or similar events. At once, the Deputy's Beast hissed in defiance of the other one in the room, but it didn't take long for Tracy to soothe its feral anger. After all, she was more familiar with Emma than some of the other Kindred in the Domain.
"Good evening," said the petite redhead, offering a sincere smile to her Gangrel cousin. "Looks like you are ready to get this show on the road already!" With those words, she let out a soft chuckle as she stepped further into the room. "Dill...Reeve Connery mentioned you had some leads on the possible whereabouts of Francesco, and wanted me to give you a hand with things." Tracy had almost called him Dillon, which is what she always called him when they hung out privately or with the Clan. However, they were inside the Avalon, so it was best to use his official title.
Still feels weird to call him Reeve...but I've got no doubts he's fully capable of doing the job.
Looking over some of the objects and papers lying around the table, the petite Gangrel looked up at Emma with her emerald green eyes. "I had been wondering where our cousin Frankie had ran off too," she said to the other Savage woman, a smirk touching the corner of her lips. "Care to fill me in on what you've got so far?"
Emma was very focused on studying the scrap book, so much so she didn’t hear her cousin enter the room but she did feel it. Her own beast raged deep within her begging for a fight. The familiar chant entered her head, fight blood kill. Not tonight beast, not now she thought as she pushed beast down. When Emma looked up at Tracy she burst out laughing. They matched; red shirts, dark pants, green eyes, one had dark hair the other red. Emma got control quickly and smiled, “Hi, glad you made it.” Emma gestured to a seat. “I’m not sure what Di…” Then she remembered Tracy had used his title and thought she better also. “Reeve Connery told you so please stop me if I am repeating anything.” Emma paused before continuing. “I went out a few nights ago and checked out Francesco’s place.” There was no need to get into the details of how she got into his place. “After a search I had found some letters and this scrap book.” Emma pushes the scrap book over to Tracy so she can have a look. “I thought we could go through it and make some notes. I am hoping to get some hints as to where he may have gone. It is horribly disorganized because so many of the pages are just scraps of paper.” Emma suddenly realized she completely forgot to do the social thing and had jumpped right to the point of the meeting. Well too late now.
Tracy listened to Emma's explanation of what had happened, accepting the scrapbook from her and skimming over it. At first the redheaded Gangrel appeared to be bored with the content, yet after skimming over a few pages a frowned formed on her brow. It wasn't unusual for Kindred to keep journals of sorts, and as a Dragon she knew that members of her Covenant would sometimes track their progress by keeping a series of journal entries concerning their studies. However, that such information had been so readily available for anyone that found their way into Francesco's place, that was certainly disconcerting to the Deputy.
"Were these at least hidden?" she asked of her cousin as she flipped through some of the pages. "I can't believe he recorded all of this information and just left it behind. The stuff in here, its a Masquerade breaching waiting to happen..." the petite Save let her words trail off, finally closing the scrapbook. "I'm glad you found it before someone else did though," she added, offering Emma a quick smile.
"If you think going over the notes may help, I'm all for giving you a hand in what I can," said Tracy after a moment's pause.
Wolven Pryde
: I'm not sure if we are expect Dillon or not, but clearly we'll need you as the ST for the thread
Emma carefully watched Tracy's face for reactions, when she changed expression Emma knew she had the reason for the meeting. "No. It was found in a drawer. An unlocked drawer." Emma gave her head a shake. Francesco knew better, he knew how to keep things safe. "The letter's were hidden. D..Reeve Connery has them and should be bringing them to us after analysis." Damn, was she ever going to get used to calling him by his title. "I thought we could start making notes, flagging pages etc. which might help track him down." Emma paused, trying to remember something about the letters. "The letters were from a woman who was here when I first arrived in town, but she was gone soon after. Julie... something, Juliette... Damn.....There was a cross which I think was her last name."
Tracy listened to the details giving to her by Emma, shaking her head in disappointment as her cousin told her that the scrapbook was found in an unlocked drawer. What an idiot, she thought to herself. The Whip had always had her issues with good ol' Frankie G, and this really helped to confirm that she had been right about him all along. I knew he'd be trouble. When Emma told her that Dillon would be bringing the letters by later, she simply gave the other Savage woman a nod. "Well, we can take a closer look at the letters when he gets here then," said the redheaded Deputy, trying to figure out who this woman Emma had spoken about was.
Julie? Julia? Cross? Hmm, something about that name...I just can't remember what.
Falling prey to their Clan's weakness, Tracy was unable to recall the name her cousin was referring to. "The name doesn't ring any bells right now, but perhaps D..a Reeve can help refresh my memory when he gets here," she said with a quick nonchalant shrug. "So, how do you want to do this then?" As she asked the question, the petite Gangrel nodded in the direction of the scrapbook in front of them.
damn clan flaw! lol

Tracy Burns rolls 5 to Int+Composure to remember that name (1s Subtract)
To gleen useful information from Francesco's journal, the Gangrel gals will have to hit it with a research roll. As there is only one source of information, it must be a teamwork roll. Which should get you results faster anyway. Choose a primary actor; the other's successes will give the primary actor a bonus to her rolls.
The roll is Intelligence + Academics, and the target is 5 successes. Each roll represents 30 minutes of reading and cross-referencing Frankie's horrible, horrible writing. Just for fun, the faster you hit the target will have a minor impact on events of the story. As will wasting a whole night getting kicked around by the Clan weakness.
Dillon is currently in another Danse thread, so the results of those letters will not come tonight

@Jag - I was just making sure I wasn't about to jump ahead of anyone that either of you might have recruited.
