Allison probably catches Dillon's hazel gaze looking down and back up as she comes out of the spin. He seems to be watching her transformation with intense interest, but moves to the door without a word-- just his usual charming smile.

The Deputy's hand stops on the doorknob/handle, however, and he turns back. Leaning casually against the door, he crosses his arms. "There is just one little thing, first." Dillon's husky voice is more... neutral than usual. Though still polite. "You do realize this hotel is in Valencia, don't you?"

About a thousand feet on the wrong side of Interstate 80. Whoops.

Allison raises her hands in a playful shrug as cuteness traces her face. "Ignorance was bliss... She smirks, but gives Dillon a reaffirming nod that she understands now. "This was just a temporary thing. I actually was dropped off a few blocks from here by Truxel, when I first arrived in Sacramento..."

She moves over to him, ready to go. "You wouldn't know anyone who...maybe wanted a room-mate?

Dillon chuckles very faintly, little more than an exhalation and a glance to the floor before looking back up to the Daeva. "No, it's alright, just so long as you know where the boundaries are. Just make sure you come to an agreement with someone before setting up something more..." One eye squints shut as he looks around briefly, as though searching for the right word. "Permanent. Comfortable. Secure. Eh, you know what I mean." He inclines his head at the end, not as a dismissal, but apparently as a lead-up to something else.

"You haven't hunted here, have you? Be honest."

Before Allison can answer, the silence is broken by his text alert going off again. The Miami Daeva gets one at the same time. Dillon doesn't act like he notices, still smiling his friendly, lopsided smile.

"Well..." Here it comes..."I kinda hitch-hiked here and did feed on the truck driver." She shrugs checking out her phone and the text. "So kind of a gray area." Allison gives Dillon a wink. "Other then that I have been a absolute angel."

She scans her contacts on her phone. Pulling up Michael Elliot, director of Red Cross over in Sacramento, she hits call.

"Hey!" Her eyes light up as she talks, and even though she is on the phone, she still uses a lot of mannerisms as if she was standing face to face with someone.

"I need a favor..." She toys with her hair.

"I need to find someone at Sutter Memorial..." She purses her lips as she tries to think of the best possible way to give him the information he needs to potentially be able to find out the information she needs.

"I do not have a full name so I hope you can work whatever magic..." Allison laughs. "He was a victim to a mugging and I think his first name is Daryl." She then tries to guide what information she wants in return. "Find out anything you can. I wanted to head over that way so a room number or a point of contact would be awesome."

"I owe ya dinner tomorrow night Michael." Smirk traces her lips. "Ya...oh guess what? She shakes her head giggling. "I start classes in spring." She nods. "Ya I am totally looking forward to it." Her eyes trace over Dillon and she nods. "I gotta run, shoot me a text with whatever you can find and dinner tomorrow..." She nods some more.

"Thanks Michael..." She pulls the phone away from her ear and hits end call. She smirks at Dillon and gives a shrug.

There is a reassuring smile on the Gangrel's face, apparently for Alice's honesty. "Technically you weren't hunting in Valencia, then. You were hunting outside of the city, even if you brought him here to feed. I think I can let that slide, since it obviously didn't cause any problems, and you're doing what you are to aid the security of the Domain." And that, is key to anyone's successful Requiem. The smile turns sly. "Angels can prosper here in Sacramento, as long as they're not afraid of getting their feathers dirty."

Corny? Just a little.

Checking his own phone, finally, he sends a return text while Allison calls her acquaintance. Nodding his approval of her tact absently while he does so.

It isn't long at all before Michael responds with his text message. Apparently, Allison has made quite an impression. The gist of his return text is that he believes the guy they're looking for is a Daryl Hembree, being kept for observation in room {number} on the second floor.

Allison smiles, "This angel is a lover, not a fighter." She gave a playful shrug, leaning on the door frame leading out of the room. "I would be hard pressed to fight my way out of a wet paper bag..." She glances down to her i-phone as the text notification goes off. "Be good or be good at it...Daryl Hembree, room 223."

"Maybe I could get a bit more training in defending myself...But hmm...who would be good to ask..." Allison gives Dillon a wink as she stands up from her lean and holds out right arm for escort, opening the door with her left. Shall we?"

Dillon gives Allison a little one-sided shrug before placing his arm in Allison's waiting hand. He moves for the doorknob/handle with the other. "Everyone contributes in their own way. You don't have to be a soldier to gain favor. But the Requiem is a dangerous thing, and you should know how to defend yours. We'll talk about that later." The Gangrel Deputy's husky voice is as friendly as ever, but it's obvious that defense and security are things he takes very serious, on a personal level as well as a city level.

He opens the door, and leads them into the hall, then once again into the Night.
