Kim flashes him a smile as she takes the map and neatly folds it in half once, then twice, before safely tucking it away in the inner pocket of her coat. “Thank you, you’ve been most helpful. Now then,” she turns on her heels before walking towards the door and opens it, looking at him over her shoulder, “if the tip proves useful we’ll let you know, and we will compensate you of course. If we have any further questions we’ll call you; no need to give us your number, we already know what it is...”
She lets her voice trail away, leaving the not-quite threat in the air, more a reminder that if they’d want to, they could just walk right back in through his door once more.
