Safe Cracking

Joshua winces and lets out a groan as he settles into the passenger seat, leaning over to unlock the driver's door. "All right, I'll guide you. You want to head west, towards the river." He pulls his door shut and gets out his phone; it lays in his lap next to the ring box while he carefully buckles himself in. There's a soft, rhythmic sound: blood-saturated jeans dripping on the floormat. He begins to slowly put a text together on the phone while waiting for the old Datsun to rumble to life.

Ahriman climbs in, his mind swirling as he pulls out and towards the river. He doesn't speak, just ignoring the smell. He conctrates on the road and keeping them as safe as possible.
