Springing into Action

Pizza was munched as Sonnie considered Mina's question. "Hmmmm..." More munching, more thinking. "I say do costumes if you want. If you feel it fits the theme of your party, then we'll do it."

And now, Jasper's question! Munch, munch, think, think. "Hmmm... well, Withers is gone and Sven is now Winter King. Did I tell you that already? No baddies to speak of. Least not that I know about." If there were, somebody better tell her, since she's the Director and all.

[Mina]

“Boo! Hiss!” says the broken doll with a laugh, all in good fun. His questions seem to be one that only Sonnie can answer so she reaches for another slice, “And this is gonna kill my diet for the month!” then a shrug, “Worth it!” taking a big bite and happily chewing.

“Awesome! Might take you up on that sometime soon. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the city nightlife.” Pausing, “My treat of course.” Nothing against Jasper, but he seemed like he might be tight on money. And if going on was her idea, she had no issue offering to pay.

The Snowskins face lights up, she likes costumes, costumes were fun! “Ok, is anything off limits? Because you need to be the center of attention, all eyes on you, our Queen! I want to make sure I’m complimenting you, not competing or out-dressing you. Not that I could.” Lets make sure that is known.

[Jasper]

The dog-headed man nods, his ears flopping slightly with the motion. "I'll see what I can do about a costume." He nods again to the information about the goings on while he was gone.

He grins a dopey grin at the booing, tongue lolling out a bit in his mirth. He finishes off the current slice of 'za before heading for another. At the talk of going out on the town, he looks over at Mina, "Yeah? That'd be pretty sweet. Just let me know when. My free time's pretty open..." he says with a soft if dry laugh.

"Off limits?" She had to think about that a minute, while chewing pizza crust. "Hmmmm... nope! Do whatcha want!" Nod nod nod. "And don't worry about upstaging me. I don't care. What am I, a Fairest? I want us ALL to be fabulous! Pick the costumes and I'll wear it!" For Sonja was a generous and loving Queen!

The Steepscrambler was not someone who was concerned about her calorie intake. She got so much exercise on a daily basis, she could eat whatever she wanted. And so she did, right now, in the form of more pizza!

Om nom nom nom!

Spring Equinox is on Friday, so we should start wrapping this up!

“Great! How are you at pinball?” asks the doll, taking another bite. The arcade probably didn’t count as nightlife, but there were some bars near it, and those def counted.

Now at this, Mina was surprised. “Oh, ok. I’ve just been in Freeholds where one doesn’t dare outshine the Queen so I wanted to make sure. Cause I was thinking like a grass skirt type look, but not luau grass skirt if that makes sense.” Looking thoughtful. “But I think it’s going to be the best Coronation hands down!” seemed like the Snowskin was getting into the swing of things so to speak.

Off limits? What does that mean to a Spring Courtier, really? "I was thinking like a jungle vibe for my 'costume'.... but I don't know if folks would be comfortable with a Beast in just some shorts or torn pants.. Could do like maybe a button down shirt that's open.. Gotta hit a Goodwill, might be able to find a Hawaiian shirt..." he muses, mostly to himself.

He gives a shrug over to Mina. "Not bad, I guess? Don't play them a lot but they're fun." Arcades can be fun places.. He's heard about some that are also bars.

"A luau sounds great!" Sonnie nodded enthusiastically. Wait, hadn't they done a luau before? Grass skirts sounded familiar. Oh well, why not do it again? Plus, she didn't want to put a damper on Mina's enthusiasm. "I'm sure some Spring Queens can be real divas, but that's not me. Honestly, neither have the previous Queens I've known here. I guess we're all pretty mello." Maybe there's something in the Tavern water? "Now Titania, she would have been a diva of a Queen. If she was still here."

The Monkey Girl looked at Jasper and giggled, "Oh, to go Tarzan or Magnum P.I.? Choices, choices, choices!"
