SC: Last mage left standing

The first Talon and Free council voter having been carted away by the authorities and Corn removed under medical transportation for the bullet wounds Winter's presence is utterly forgotten by all by virtue of his skill with mind magic he is the last mage left standing of the five that have showed up and tried to tackle this investigation that has resulted in multiple veil breaches and gotten so very off track.

He stands in the dark of the cubicle maze aware that it represents some form of occult symbol, he knows the pass pass phrase to get through the enchanted door and he knows a mage and some spirts await in twilight in the office at the top of the stairs. He knows Salem wherever he has gotten had a rat. Is it enough or does the Guardian have more work to do?

At the end of the day, he's left alone, with a problem far bigger than the one they had come to investigate.
The hostile mage and his creation still remain, but what's worse, he's now got his allies to rescue before the police digs their talons too deep.
He takes one last look at the space, then, carefully, he'll escape the crime scene, his next step will be to intercept the investigation.

Winter along in the dark of the cubicle maze will be able to hear the cordon of uniform officers and the hubbub of movement and investigators around the entrance to the warehouse his incognito presence is strong and would undoubtable remove him from the memory of anyone who happens to see him and look away but getting through all of that when no one is supposed to be here would be a challenge.

Hoe is the guardian going to interfere with the investigation now three of his fellows have been carted off?

And so he's left alone with his thoughts. The entire investigation had resulted into a failure, bumping up the count of the collateral damage to a few of his fellow magi who were now under police custody.
He shrugs, the'd have to intercept them before they started cracking on them, and then delete every evidence. And although he knew Phoenyx wouldn't cave under the pressure, he wasn't so sure about the others.
Time was - like always of essence.

Right now all that remained was to leave the building, with various options at his disposal, he decides it's no time to linger longer.
