The Council is called to order

[Chambers]

As his announcement on the corkboard had stated the council of Sacramento was being called to address the issues that had reared themselves and were multiplying while the Consilium sat idle. Dressed in a woollen grey suit the Moros council walks with reverence into the circle of creation if this meeting went smoothly much could be resolved tonight. If it did not things would be about to get much harder.

The meeting had been called, it was time to get some things settled. Things had had been needed to be settled for quite some time.

How the meeting would go, she had no idea. If the other meetings we anything to base things off, then this wouldn’t solve anything. But maybe, just maybe, the other Councilors were as frustrated as she was.

Well, here’s to hoping.

Walking in dressed up a bit as this felt like an important meeting, she spots Chambers and makes her way over. A small part wanted to make a joke, because serious just wasn’t comfortable for the Shaman. But it didn’t feel right and as such, she didn’t.

“Hello Chambers, thank you for calling this meeting, it’s long overdue.”

[Chambers]

Given he had neither the authority to call the meeting or set in motion its topic to say he was experiencing a sense of nerves would be very accurate. But the Necromancers comp sure holds no tapping of a foot, no pipe between his teeth no outwardly he is keeping it together in the ways that matter.

Turning as Aurora enters he manages a wan smile that does not reach his eyes no they stay set and focused, that might be the give away he is feeling the weight of his actions and the meeting. "Aurora, good to see you. It always is, thank you coming." And the smile becomes a little warmer at her words. "It is overdue. I only hope the others agree with you and don't just see this as a power grab but rather a necessary step in confronting the issues that are building up." But to have the Sharman's support meant a lot.

[Joyeuse]

Joyeuse arrived promptly, dressed in an androgynous black suit, with a frilled white blouse, and wide-legged slacks. Their platinum hair was slicked back and their makeup consisted of dark eyeshadow and nude lip stick.

The Obrimos would pause a moment, taking a breath and closing their eyes as they willed their usual mask into being.

Eventually arriving and spotting both Chambers and Aurora, Joyeuse would join them.

"Councilors, a pleasure to see you both," they said, the marked stoicism of their tone matching the carefully practiced visage from which it spoke. "You have both been well, I trust?"

[Salem]

The call to bring the councilors together is something the Warlock councilor had been expecting for a bit now. He hopes this is more fruitful then the last meeting of the Consilium proved to be.

Salem arrives promptly dressed up a bit in a grey tweed suit with black dress shoes. His earlobes are stretched nicely around a pair of iron ear plugs. He looks around as he walks into the Circle, eventually spotting Aurora, Chambers and Joyeuse. He turns to approach them, ruffling a hand through his hair before slipping his hands into his pockets as he slows to a stop near them.

"Councilors," he starts, "a pleasure to see you, as always."

[Aurora]

Seeing the smile, well, not the full smile.

Interesting.

“Of course, this isn’t something I would miss.” Never.

“I believe they will see the importance of it. No way it’s been lost on anyone how things have been going. Getting things in order and a power grab are two different things done two different ways in my opinion.” This had been announced, for all to see.

Turning her attention, “Councilor Joyeuse, good to see you. I can’t complain, and yourself?” she knew the Arrow had a level head, and hoped it would serve well in the up coming discussion.

At the sound of other footsteps, she looks to see Salem, “Councilor Salem, hello. How have you been?”

[Chambers]

His fellow mystagogue shows once more why she is so well thought of as she demonstrates both wisdom and perspective. It is a comfort to know the Consilium had such a capable mage supporting it. Enough for the Moros to relax just a little. "I can only hope you are correct." And he genuinely did.

As the next arrivals join them it seems things will be making some headway after all. "Good evening Councillor Joyeuse." And not far on their heels. "And Councillor Salem." Four out of five was not bad. "It is good to see you both, Thank you for coming." With a look to the door and the back to the assembled wise. "Given Philip was not at the Consilium meeting and forfeit his acknowledgement the stand in duties fall to Cavendish but I do not know if he will be coming." But how long should they wait. "I think we should make a start and catch him up if he arrives." The message had been on the board for all to see its not like he had not been informed.

[Joyeuse]

Joyeuse inclines a slight nod as Aurora inquires to their well-being.

"I am doing well, thank you," they said as they moved to the table and selected a seat.

Another nod is leveled as Salem arrives. "Hello, Councilor, welcome," they offer before turning their head to look to Chambers directly.

"I agree, I don't see any reasonable hindrance preventing us from beginning as soon as we are able," Joyeuse said, affording no resistance, "Should Cavendish desire to weigh in on our discussion, he can always do so later."

[Cavendish]

Ever have one of those moments were things just click and fall into place? Cavendish had one of those today. Panic followed as he rushed to get his suit on and then to get to the Circle without a speeding ticket. The Ladder parks a few blocks away and forces himself to walk casually to the Circle. Finally entering the Circle the Acanthus makes his way to the others.

"My apologies for being late." He says with a nod of his head. Then a handkerchief is pulled from a pocket to wipe his forehead.

[Salem]

Salem gives a smile back to Aurora, nodding, "Councilor Aurora, hello. I have been well, if a bit busy recently. How about yourself?"

"Good evening, Councilor Chambers, I hope your evening is finding you well," he says, nodding in agreement. I haven't heard from Philip in a bit.. I hope he's doing okay... he muses to himself.

A warm smile is given to the Theurgist, "Thank you, Councilor Joyeuse, and hello."

He nods his agreement that they begin the meeting, moving to find a seat just as the Enchanter enters, standing back up. "Welcome, I believe we were just about to begin?" he says to Cavendish before sitting back down again in his chosen seat.
