I apricate it it the holiday times so I won't be chasing this scene till the new year but if you are still in custody by the end of it then that will be the end of the plot and your character will be taken to the station. This is your opportunity to do something about it.
Behind the wall of glass, on the stair case, that leads to the out of place door of white wood and crystal Corn, Phoenyx an Philip have been cuffed by four officers of the law. One of those offers is suffering from damage to his vision after the light from his troches was redirected straight into his eyes. One officer has Philip, one officer has Phoenyx and and the forth officer has corn and the incapacitated officer, they are leading you down the stairs. Corn and Phoenyx both have unlocked cuffs and there hands hidden in just enough shadow to make that not immediately noticeable.
At the bottom of the staircase Winter has come face to face with the fifth and final armed response officer, others surely have set up a cordon and Phoenyx knows they have having passed them on the way into the building. To aid the escape Winter risked paradox to cast acceleration on the four mages. The spell has taken and could prove a pivotal tool in breaking free. These officers have already bene exposed to one vulgar instance of magic and the power of their collective disbelief broke the arrows spell apart.
The threat there where here to investigate and contain if needed now a distant and outlandish priority, the rats, the infections, the death and the occult symbolism all pieces in the puzzle, the architect having been within their grasp now a distant dream compared to their own needs and the mage waiting above in twilight for his part seems to have taken no action to sway events in any one direction of the other. Maybe he does not feel the need to.
You each have acceleration but keep in mind how many sleepers can see you when you choose to use it's benefits because disbelief will kick in
