Corn's consequences: Interrogation

"By the time I arrived, police was already there, there was tape and bodies were being moved. I didn't see the bodies - and I am not sure I would have reached out to check supernaturally. I didn't immediately assume it was something supernatural, and then we were occupied with the funerals and the search for our son. "

When Winter points out his slip of the tongue, Corn corrects himself. "My wife's brother, my brother in law. I mispoke."

"How long did it take you to realize more supernatural threats may be involved. You mentioned weeks", he says, his attention still drawn to the design on the floor.
"It's gonna take a couple hours to prepare the room. I realize it's pointless to ask him direct questions, that's why we may have to dig deeper. As his order mate, you'll come with us so that you can be sure he doesn't expose order secrets", he tells Chambers.

He had been paying careful attention. This after all so far little more then a game of twenty questions wit ha narrator who even without being influenced had poor communication skills. Hours implies the ritual the symbols on the floor had already more then hinted at what surprises him is come with us. "I apricate the consideration shown by having me along." Not every Guardian would have made that call. "But just to remove any point of confusion by come with you, you mean?" Where he is he taking us? Because they sure weren't teleporting out of the circle the wards placed that well beyond their ability or so he thought. Twilight? The shadow? Or is he referring to something else? The possibilities racked up quickly.
