He nods to the staff member for his response. “Appreciate it, that will be good to know.” He stands back a little for a moment to think for a moment. Maybe it is not the correct snake? But then why would she mention that specifically. Perhaps her notes, when shared, will give that answer. For now I should look around, it seems a little public for anyone to try something, so she will be safe and I am not too far away.

He gives a light tap on Aurora's shoulder and waits for attention before speaking. “I'm just going to go have a look at the Snake section of the shop. Feel free to join me once you are done here.” He gives a smile and makes his way over to the displays with the snakes. He inspects them and looks at the quality of the cages and the conditions of the snakes, if there are any info cards he takes time to read them.

If you want to be extra careful an airlock on the tank is a not uncommon, you can place food in to the hatch, remove the bottom of he air lock via sliding mechanism and then put that back in place." A pause. "Commercial anti venoms are also a pricey but smart precaution. You might never need it if your careful but if you ever do it could save your life." He will point to some shelves behind the counter. Apparently that is to much to have public access to.

His eyebrows raise a little. "The Venom of this little guy is not well documented enough to have a classification yet." And yes they are just giving those away. "Haemotoxic is a bit rarer. Neurotoxic venom found in cobras is the most common. You would be looking for vipers, rattlesnakes and the Australian brown snake for the most well known species. They all tend to be aggressive breeds I would not recommended them for a first snake." His tone heavy with warning and concern, so either a good sales pitch or not entirely morally bankrupt yet.

Asclepius commit the mage faux par of making contact with another mage, sympathy and all that. But heading over to the snakes sees various tanks containing a range of ball pythons, king snakes, the California king is clearly popular as they have several, and even some truly massive boa constrictors lavishly lounging along branches. Along with the array of smaller green grass snakes, corn snakes, and other garden verities. He does notice the double door creek open just enough to let the store worker he saw earlier head back into the store without the civilian they took back their not long ago.
