    The warmth of a campfire, shadows softening at their edges, the smell of woodsmoke in the air.

    When vulgar, it's the heat of a pyre, the air darkening with ash, the smell of burning flesh.

    "Just a misread of the room it seems" she says easily as it becomes clear that chit chat is indeed just being chit chat. To the greetings she returned smiles, but not having much to contribute outside of that, settles back on her heels.

    Maybe not put her foot in her mouth with jumping into conversation she had missed most of.

    Or maybe just not having any idea what chickens had to do with anything.
